I assume you’re going to the game, are you taking a tour of the stadium as well?Heading to Vegas this wknd for the first time in about 10 years. Can't wait to check out the stadium.
I heard the tour was a lot about the Raiders history which I could care less about. We're staying at the Aria and just are planning on throwing down for a couple of nights and hopefully head over to the game on Sunday (don't even have tickets yet). Figured with no playoff implications we'll just grab some tickets right before game time.I assume you’re going to the game, are you taking a tour of the stadium as well?
That's cool. How much? The tour was a lot about the history, but it was pretty cool. We got to go on the field at the end, although it was the UNLV shit turf field, but still a fun experience.
Like $65 or so a person. I guess there is no field access right now as they are preparing for the SuperBowl. That's cool. How much?
I went to Durango last Saturday to watch the football semi finals games. The place was completely packed. These new big resorts are in for a rough ride. Resorts World only bringing in a little over 2 mil a day, translated bleeding money
with their overhead. Wynn across the street with half the overhead, over 6 mil a day in revenue.
I wonder how long Durango will last with $399 on weeknights and $25 min on BJ? They act like they're a strip property.
Great visuals would definitely pay to watch a movie,(star wars) or a football game. Thought sound was too loud vibrating against the seat. Paid $100 for there visual display Post cards from mankind(ran only 50 min)Didn't like it but visuals were unreal good.I hear The Sphere is worth nearly a 100 per head.
Its supposed to be more upscale than Red Rock.
Given the room prices doubt there are few bargains around there.
mid-week june still $399/night........$50 resort fee....is that the highest resort fee out there?
we need the feds to do another shooting to lower the pricesThat’s criminal
Loved the guy on IG that ordered 2 Fiji waters and a carafe of coffee at Fountainbleau. After room service fee, gratuity and tax....67 dollars. Saw the receipt.
Not sustainable with middle class families that fuel Vegas.
I just came back from happy hour, had 2 beers and 3 Gin N tonics for $11 total, when i go to vegas I dont pay for a single drink, who are these people that pay that?Loved the guy on IG that ordered 2 Fiji waters and a carafe of coffee at Fountainbleau. for $45 you can get this from the mini-bar area :
INTIMACY KIT
2 SKYN Condoms
Fun Dice
1 Massage Oil
1 Personal Lubricant
You mean the one downtown?GoldSpike/Terribles hotel being torn down for a future industrial park
I don't follow it closely, but Durango may be betting on, inter alia, folks coming in for NFL, NHL, MLB (and more?) games looking and/or having to look off-strip.
We definitely have a lot of rooms in town, but this expanding sports venue aspect (also including -- to a lesser extent -- some of the lesser sports like WNBA, NFR, lacrosse, etc.) does bring a steady utilization of our overall capacity. A steady utilization that wasn't a factor previously.
(NFR -- in a bit of a contrast -- has been here for a while, but IIRC they either went somewhere else for a year or so or at least flirted with doing so. And that's one week or so in I think it's early December vs. multiple dates for a professional sports team. The more major sports leagues that jump on the Vegas bandwagon, the more we round out the calendar with that steady utilization.)
Some folks coming in for their team's Vegas date may want to or have to go off strip for any number of reasons, including the Strip being functionally booked with whatever is in town for that date over and above their game (like CES this upcoming week). Even before the Knights, Raiders, etc., I sometimes have had to get creative to get a reasonably priced (well, reasonable for Vegas pricing, anyway) room for staycation fun.
You mean the one downtown?
For that price I better get a nubile woman to come along with it
I typed Spike instead of Strike.No. In Jean, NV between Primm and Vegas
I'm surprised that's allowed! The new Durango hotel has a small ATM box on the blackjack table...scan your card and give the value in chips.
Vegas is getting ruthless.
