What about florida - the mask defiance? Not sure what Ron will do - he should call a special session to make it a law, in any event they've peaked and in a couple months many of the restrictions will be dropped anyway.

People always assume that the situation will remain unchanged, it's constantly changing, what goes up must come down, the left has decided to stand their ground and defy desantis on the utterly meaningless issue of school masks, just shows how much they've failed in the lockdown battle. Every other facet of the restrictions that were in place last year is gone, they'll sit smugly with their silly masks on for a few months and then they'll take them off and meekly slip away.

there is a court case coming i think this week. The families are suing his law.

Do you realize how ridiculous that is - they aren't suing for the right to wear a mask, they are suing for the right to deny other people their choice, that's crazy.

Now we know how it is with judges - sure they might be able to find one to agree with them, but in the end arguing that you should be able to deny everyone their rights isn't going to work.

Maybe you are right... it is going to the state supreme court.. the lower judges did not want the case.


the gov will look bad if he loses. The texas judges will do the same.

it's all theater, it'll end up just like last school year in FL, the urban area kids will wear masks(for awhile) and the rest of the states kids wont. I dont live there so i really dont care, but yea, desantis should make them pay.

more and more businesses will ask for the vax.. schools are already doing it too. Not the lower level yet but the higher are. The passports will come too. There will be more viruses going forward . The population keeps growing. The anti gov't people will have nowhere to hide. Say you are a plumber the business owner does not want you because certain people want a vax to let you in their house... No business will want the anti gov't people in the end. Costing them money.

That may happen in places, but most of the country wont have any of that., the fact is less than half of people under 40 are vaxxed, you just cant say "well, they cant do anything, so there". That's not the way society functions.

Not a single vaccine passport has started yet, when a shithole city starts doing it they'll find out that people didn't rush to get vaxxed, they rushed to give their business to places 20 miles away. Dooming their own business's in the process.

Has Newsom failed to protect Californians? How about Cuomo? Murphy in New Jersey? Pritzker in Illinois? Whitmer in Michigan? Or is it just the governors who let their citizens make health choices for themselves, allow their businesses to survive, and allow their constituents to live their lives?

that probably will change this week when the state supreme court gets the case.. desantis is an underdog to win in court. The tell IMO is the other lower judges wanted no part of the case

Murphy is a Democrat. Period. Nothing changes that.

He's the one that handled every part of the COVID-19 mandates there and they have the worst numbers in the country.

But keep trying to pass that off on others.

I dont know if that stat is true or not, but you miss two key points - they've peaked in FL and most importantly we dont care. The media may care, liberals in other states may care, but the people of florida dont care - the fact is virtually everyone in FL is living completely normal lives, and it's not going to change, not a single kid is being forced to not wear a mask anyway.

What the hospitals, nurses, etc need to do is their jobs, because the rest of us no longer give a shit if they're overwhelmed, stressed or upset.,
