It's over, cases, infections, deaths dropping everywhere that had high case numbers. Much of the middle of the country was always a couple weeks + behind the NY, WA outbreaks, which is why they're not quite in the descent phase.

Yeah, cases of the "regular flu" have also been spreading for 100 years or more. Flu deaths in the US average 38,000 per year over the last 20 years.
"Other places" are much less populous than the big states, many of which have "seemed" to peak (no one has a really good model until more data is accumulated).
The Top 15: Cal, Tex, Fla, NY, PA, Ill, Ohio, Ga, NC, MICH, NJ, VA, WA, AZ, MA account for about 2/3 of US population. Its unlikely that any of these states have a prolonged spike in deaths from here.

Mn now has 419 deaths, and they've been increasing daily lately at roughly 25/day, so you might say, wow it's going up, it's spreading? Until you find out that 338 of the deaths are in nursing homes and 23 out of that 25 daily deaths are in care facilities.

Unless Johns Hopkins and Worldometer sites are totally wrong, this is completely bogus. The WHO reported data (May 1, 10:00 CEST, 1AM PDT) that shows 55,337 total deaths with the 2,909 new deaths, JH passed this number of total deaths on April 27. If WHO is correct, this great news because at midnight PDT, May 1, JH had 65,068 total deaths.

TBH, I don't think this was something he actually said, I think it's just a meme or whatever these things are called. The injecting of disinfectant however was something he did say, and there are no words to describe how incredibly stupid it was of him.
