There is speculation that this is not a audition for the QB1 job but a chance to shine before entering the transfer portal.

Riley has been aggressive looking for other guys...I don't think he thinks he's the answer. Nonetheless, pretty sure he starts somewhere in 2024.

I could tell the USC new defensive guy from UCLA is making a difference, the tackling in open field was good. Moreover, they're
getting two of the Bruins best secondary guys next season that followed their DC.

I thought the post game interviews with QB Moss was very telling. 6 TD passes, MVP....yet very subdued, almost apologetic. He commented more on the present victory, nothing about future.

I think he's leaving.

USC has so many more athletes than PSU. It's ashame what's going on. How many fourth down conversions did USC give up today?

PSU is very average. I guess SC is too.

I said it before, Big 10 is not for SC. They need a more wide open conference. Similar to basketball. Big 10 pace minimizes SC's athleticism.

Lincoln Riley was a shit hire, popular but terrible. i was right as always, usc didnt lose because they joined big 10, they lost because their coach is a dipshit

West Coast soft not built for the Big Ten, I got fortunate, I had SC +4 but needed PSU to win for my playoff future, managed to thread the needle nicely

Riley is so enamored with offense that he doesn't get you need elite edge rushers to take pressure off the secondary. He's never had one at SC. Zero pressure today 3 guys for Maryland combined for 27 receptions.

It's interesting that the market still thinks SC is somebody (openers).

I watch Riley on local news, he doesn't impress me. He's a offensive coordinator not head coach material. Kliff Kingsbury fooled a lot of people too. It's easy when you have great QBs

Texas A &M Sumlin was a genius too when Manziel was there. 😅
