It's the fact that we faced a nightmare virus that might have killed 300,000+ very easily, but we've saved many many lives.

Wars have been started over much less. Starting a pandemic for the rest of the world, then trying to cover up the seriousness of it while hoarding PPE for yourselves is deep shit.
