I forgot to answer the question about money.
I stayed because I loved the job, money was pretty good but I can make more on my own now that I have left the job that ended up taking up so much time.

IMO he is nothing but a figure head who doesn't really have anything to do with day to day operations, another non forum guy who is in a position he shouldn't be in...
I had spoke to him a few times when he first came to the Rx and wasn't impressed....kind of stuffy "I'm a big shot type guy" , similar to Rick actually.
And this I know for a fact - Marty doesn't even make those 'Marty J picks'.
I get the impression he's not a real sports fan , that I don't know for a fact but you can sort of tell ....
Marty wasn't a forum guy either and we kind of cringed when he would try to be one...his biggest blunder was the Bos guarantee...since then he hung up his keyboard.

I have talked to Wilheim dozens of times on the phone, in fact i spoke to him just Thursday and had a nice conversation...Wil has to do what he has to do and does a very good job overall...I will miss Wil....he's old school and sometimes that gets in the way but he always means well.
I am not saying they arent nice at all, they are nice guys, and they do care, but they are told what to say now and you can tell which ones really want to do what Rick says...

30 hours a week BEFORE the Mod day started General...I started at 7 AM and did the Odds work til 11 AM...none of the other mods even knew....so I was doing that and the other job , which put me on the site very early and very late.

I was one of a kind and they knew it....Rick hated me yet still dealt with me because he knew what I brought to the table.
The last straw was last week when big shot Rick says to me , 'why are you betting that much on a game anyway'? As if I was some low level degenerate who doesn't have two nickles to rub together....these were relatively middle range bets for me....I told him later it was BS thing to say.
He then wondered why I had a problem with the check sent to me that bounced and said, "that is no reason for you to bounce a check" fucking clown actually said that to me...as I had complained that my checks bounced after Bad Co bounced a check to me....

One of the worst things I ever experienced at the rx was listening to Roy bitch about the negative threads concerning Skybook. He came up with the wonderful idea of creating a new room. A room that HID the complaints.

Kojak was a token mod, best way to put it...I'm sure he's a decent guy and all, and this is not against him...he was never really a real mod...he was a friend of one of the owners...he does a good job with his sports talk though IMO.

I don't know what ACE ACE makes , but I will tell you this, he is laughed at in the board room and the owner realizes he is a losing better who will send the following down the drain, which in turn makes the owner a lof of money.
