NOT AT ALL WRIGLEY.....WAS JUST A QUESTION, MAYBE BECAUSE OF THE WAY THINGS ARE GOING.........BUT WHEN YOU DO LITTLE DURING THE WINTER MONTHS BECAUSE THERE IS NO GOLF UP NORTH.......THIS IS ONE OF THE THINGS I TRULY ENJOY.....THE INTERACTION BETWEEN FRIENDS AND EVEN A GUY LIKE YOU WITH TOTALLY DIFFERENT POLITICAL VIEWS......

If you have enough posters could we see the day where sports forums start flying banners from other non sportbook advertisers to help with revenue.
Im sure many would still post but the site still needs to bring in $$$
isnt that why EOG went away from its orginal business plan of only allowing top tier books.
Maybe the McDonalds banner will fly here some day advertising the egg Mcmuffin:houra

I know a great local in Minneapolis if offshore becomes dead to US customers
for those in that area.

Sure, why not, I bet before there was offshore and will bet after offshore. I posted at Bettorsworld and therx in 1998 I believe and there was 25% of the books there are now. Thats also the time when everyone lost credit cards and western union quick collects and that was suppose to be the end as well. As long as there are games being played, there willbe a person willing to take the bet.

Hman I agree but since your part of management maybe you know, how would these places make revenue if not from offshore books I have no ideal how much this site costs to run a month but cant be to cheap.

Be a sad day if EOG had to close it doors thats what im wondering to Tony
places like ez boards rely on posters donations to keep going maybe that would be a option.
But lets see what happens first maybe things will work out fine

I have a strong feeling that they will always find a way.
Eog is a "Sports Talk" forum, and let's not forget it ranks very high overall among all existing websites.
With that being said, there could & should be other ways of advertising revenue rather than only sportbooks that eog could possibly take advantage of down the road....

I do not want to but, I'd pay to have access to this info. / exchange of info.
I'd be surprised if it became illegal for the players. The gov. would once more have to pass even more laws dealing with this issue. This law was greased up and slipped in with not enough support to do it in a legimate way. I do not expect it to come up again in a negative way.

I would not stop.
I know in my heart that there is nothing morally wrong with sports wagering or posting about sports wagering. My actions are not criminal, despite any legislation that comes forth.

I'd still post for now. As we know it, we still live in a free society supposedly. Whether EOG would still be around without all the advertisers would be a big if.
If there was a law that online betting became a felony (If Goodlatte had his way), I might reconsider and just e-mail or call my close friends.
By the way Devil, I'm playing a round of golf tommorrow. The weather is good enough here right now until it starts really raining.
