Many many great point guards thru the years. Stockton, Isiah, Bob Cousy, Kidd and many many more. Need time ot make a list. Magic is clearly number 1. NAsh is way up the list but not sure where. Tough, good question.

I think Nash does more for his TEAM than Kidd does. I forgot about Stockton, if there is anyone that is better it would be him.

I only saw Magic at the end of his career. He was not playing at the level that Nash has been at for the last 4-5 years. I did not see the "real" Magic.

I will take Nash over Kidd but it is hard to say that he is the best of all time with all the past greats.

Travis im only 40 so I never saw Cousy or Oscar. Caught Clyde at the end of his career. While most think Magic was the best PG ever, I would have taken Isiah over him. He was such a smooth player.

If the question was pure point guard play only Magic might not be the man...but Magic would be hard to pass up because of his size...remember he changed the position, was one of the first real big men to have the ball, although he is not 6-9, probably more like 6-6.

I'm 43, but when I see the way some of those guys look now, it does make me feel pretty old. I do think the position has changed enormously. I think Nash is definitely in the top greatest of all time.

Gus Williams was a great player that's been somewhat forgotten....he was a very exciting player in his prime and played on some great teams.

Kidd is a below average shooter IMO...he's more of a scorer than a shooter.
Stockton and Nash are pure shooters but also score from all over the court, you don't find many point guards who can flat out knock it down from long range like they can/could.
Nash finds ways to score like very few others and at his size just makes him that much better and seperates him from most other Pgs.
