World?s Largest HDTV

The world?s largest HDTV ? measuring 218 feet wide and 37 feet tall ? has just been installed at a Tokyo race track.
Mitsubishi delivered the behemoth in 35 pieces and assembled it on site, with the whole shebang taking up 8,000 square feet. If you?re looking to upgrade from that 19-incher you?ve had since college, start investing now, as this thing cost a cool $28 million

Designer Ice Now Sold At Designer Prices

Ice Rocks Ice Cubes Are Being Sold With Designer Flare For Almost The Price Of Gas.

(CBS) At a scorching two bucks a liter this water already takes more from your pocket than the cost of the gas you put in your car.

So perhaps times are ripe for purified ice cubes.

Canadian entrepreneur ice maker Jean-Jean Peltier flew in from Toronto just to show us his mineral ice rocks.

“Right now you’re taking your ice tray. You’re putting that with tap water in your freezer. It can smell: shrimp, chicken, etc. This you don't need to touch,” says Jean-Jean Pelletier of “Ice Rocks Ice Cubes.”

“Most mass produced ice comes from city weather. The maker of these cubes promises no messy chlorine aftertaste,” says Jon Duncanson.

Just how thirsty are we for ice cubes costing about a dime a piece?

“You’re not buying it, not at all, nothing.”

“Yeah I’d purchase that.”

George Varney showed us aqua-ice purified water, just stick it in the freezer.

George Varney of Aqua Ice comments, “If you believe in bottled water you should believe in this prepackaged sealed ice. But some stores say if it looks like a fad and smells like a fad...”

You’re not going to be stocking the shelves anytime soon at Sam’s?

“No plans yet. We’ll see how it goes. But nothing in the cards. But if we'll buy four dollar gas and two dollar water, what's so wrong with a 10 cent cube of clean, pure ice?” Says Efrain Madrigal of Sam’s Wines and Spirits.

Some designer icemakers also say that ice from tap water can make you sick, but health experts say there's no real risk of that.

Tote-A-Keg

One quick way to lug around a 2.5-gallon keg is with MoreBeer?s Tote-A-Keg. One potential drawback, it costs $150.
It uses CO2 to dispense the flowing beery goodness through an outer spout. The handle and wheels make this device easily the best accessory of any drinker. Being an alcoholic is damn expensive, I should know, my Tote-A-Keg is on the way!

A bar waitress checking to see if a woman was legally old enough to drink was handed her own stolen driver's license, which was reported missing weeks earlier, police said.

"The odds of this waitress recovering her own license defy calculation," police Capt. Guy Turner said Monday.

Maria Bergan, 23, of Lakewood, was charged Sunday night with identity theft and receiving stolen property. She was arrested at her home in suburban Cleveland and was jailed in Westlake to await a court appearance.

The 22-year-old waitress, whose name was not released, called police last week and said she had been handed her own stolen driver's license by a woman trying to prove she was 21. The woman, who became suspicious of the delay as the waitress went to call police, fled the Moosehead Saloon, but her companion provided her name.

The waitress said she had lost her wallet July 9 at a bar in Lakewood.
The victim also had a credit card stolen. The stolen card has been used to make $1,000 in purchases, Turner said.
