Well athleticism is more important at the QB position in the CFL, hence why a guy like Casey Printers was a star and couldn't hack it in the NFL, and even couldn't hack it in the CFL when he came back trying to be a pocket passer.

So Eli is a much worse fit for the CFL in reality

A top 5 QB is a top 5 qb, regular season or playoffs.

Fish, you're usually not this simple minded so I assume you dislike Vick for non-football reasons and can't rationally speak about this topic. There's no way someone could admit one player is more productive, but say the other gives you a better chance of winning. That's just not logical.

High Times doesn't blame the Eagles defense for giving up 31 points to the Bears, he blames Vick. He's always been close minded on Vick, and then gets real upset when you call it like it is - HT doesn't like black QB's.

Watch the Packer playoff game and the Bears game where he trew the game away right before the half and REFUSED to run the rest of the game.

Vick NOT RUNNING is worthless and that is what happened in Chicago. He got hit in the first half pretty and then made a horrible interception right before the half as the Eagles were going to get a good lead and quit on them!

When Vick refuses to run (quiting) they should take him out of the game.

He was the best player on the field for the Eagles in the game. I remember, I'm a Bears fan. Your defense lost the game, not Vick. He's not a top 10 QB to you because you can't seem to grasp much lately. Hopefully that changes for you soon.

Agree Eli is making progress in being in Brady's class. Helps being in Superbowls, even if you are not the best quarterback out there. This is a team sport, not an individual sport. Brady might be 10, 15 years older. Give it a few years.

My opinion adds the fact that today's QB's are not getting slaughtered like they were back then. You can't put someone ahead of another person when 1 of them doesn't have to get worried about getting broke in half.

Griese didn't blow his chances at Super Bowls. He played great in both of them and every other playoff game he played.

And Sonny had an arm ... great passer in a NFL that ran the ball all the time and didn't protect the QB.

He would be great in today's NFL.

We have arguably the best football player of all time not making the top 20 QB list, and we have maybe the best offensive player in football last year labeled as a QB that will hold back a franchise that hasn't ever won anything (and fore the record i do put Rodgers, Peyton and Brady ahead of Vick at QB, probably in that order, but you CAN argue he was the best player in football last season)

You guys all have short memories...............he went on the raod and won playoff games vs Tampa Bay, Dallas and Green Bay then he won the SB vs what many was touting as the best team of all time the undefeated Patriots................quite an accomplishment............Brady or Manning has never done anything like that.............

I think a lot of his downfall the past few years is the fact he lost Plaxico Burress...........with Burris the Giants were a force to be respected but average without him............

Then the Giants never really came close to replacing Burress.............

I think Eli is a damn good QB with the proper weapons surrounding him...............:cheers

I must give some credit to Eli. I was at a Chargers game a few years ago....maybe when he was a rookie, and he was shell shocked the first half. Much to his credit, he didn't get rattled and played a nice game the 2nd half even though it was a losing effort. He hung in there, I must say that.
