I read the thread about the racoons and it made me second guess whether I should throw food out back. A couple years ago I had 4 huge trees in my yard. Spruce I think and I found that skunks were living under them. In looking back I think it may have been because of the food I was throwing out back. I had all 4 trees cut down and now I do not have any wild animal problems, although I am now worried if I am asking for coons and rats by throwing food outside.
