this is where girardi earns his money. I feel you leave Burnett in the game until he gives up a baserunner. No need to fix what ain't broken. If he can go 1 2 3 in the 9th, he gets the win.

If you bring in Mo for the 9th and he just 'doesnt have it' you just waste a large game by AJ. Mo hasn't pitched in a while, who knows what you are going to get with him in the game. Why 'experiment' with this. But, Giarardi is Giaradri and he'll bring in Mo for the 9th and gamble with this almost must win for NYY.
