His trangressions are temporarily bypassed because he is spilling his guts on the inner workings of the current regime. I was first in line ripping him to shreds when he inadvertantly deleted his losing day at bases. But besides that and his penchant for storytelling and trolling for butt pirates I have no problem with him. He is falling apart here though. Better to convey the disgruntled employee message and stick with that than getting involved in personal attacks. That dilutes the message. Like many others, he was a better poster than a mod. Wil was a great poster, a crappy mod and a total power hungry Nazi head mod. If I get a chance to stick it to Adolf, I take it.

Illini- I think that it was Danish TV where they showed how to use bonuses to beat online casinos. Lots of Danes where winning money from the casinos. Marty decided not to pay them.

He also owned other casinos where he just didn't pay out the players.

It was rumored he stiffed the Danes out of several hundred thousand dollars but I have no confirmation of that.

Unlike Jman I would prefer not to go into detail the reasons I left, voluntarily, and deleted all my info. Let's just say Old Man Ted let it be known wil never liked me, his words exactly, and would have me eliminated. After he and Ttinco set me up for attack I pretty much figured I would never get a fair shake from them again. I posted a lot of crap about BOS, Marty and the entire wrong direction I thought the RX was going. There is a lot more to it than that but I am not the disgruntled angry person type. I may have sent some Frog spirits in to create hate and discontent, but other than that my days there are done for good.

Ended up being a decent thread especially the board discussions. Had my fun here, got to poke old Adolf in the eye again, and just want to change the channel from offshore soaps to league pass. Feeding the inferno of hate and discontent may be entertaining, but it don't pay the bills. I have to say I preferred the old days when The Shrink had wil and the rest of the goon squad attacking me. Was a solid site back then. Just want to unleash the NBA Frog.

J Man let me preface this by saying I like your style a lot, always have. I have had ZERO problems with you, ever.

I am really more disappointed than pissed off as I write this little note to you because I really think you are handling this situation with little or none of the class you have shown over the years. Regardless of how you were treated, two wrongs don't make a right. Spilling the beans on your former friends/co-workers is not going to make you feel any better about this situation, and its not you. I predict you will look back at this thread with much regret after the dust settles.

This thing is EMOTIONAL ... it's emotional for people because it's their life ...

That is why most people won't TRULY understand the situation, because even if they know all the facts (which they don't), they won't ever be able to grasp the emotional state. Only people like Jman, Shrink, The General, Bucsfan and the mods at the RX have an understanding of everything ... and they all have EMOTIONAL link to the matters being discussed here

In most matters, it doesn't matter WHAT was said ... it matters HOW it was said ... and most posters will never understand that ... so why form an opinion on something that you can't truly understand?

Jman has been good to me ... and so has The Shrink ... and so has The General ... and so has Bucs ... and so has Dirty ... and so has Sports Savant ... and so has XPanda ... and the list goes on ...

... and as far as I am concerned, that is all that matters for me ... because I might know a few facts, I cannot comprehend how THEY FEEL ... so no matter what gets posted, I really can't make an informed opinion ... and THAT is why I don't form an opinion on the matter and I don't call out people.

Hmmm. Well Old Man Ted totally abused his mod power last time he was a minute mod when he and Ttinco set me up for an attack. Got to dust off the old wil past poster tag for me and pretty much sneak attacked a poster, which is hardly mod like, let alone a show of class. His opinion of himself does not match the results, shown by the watch and learn comments. Upon furthur review, he stole that line from me, in last year's NBA thread here, one of my better threads. However, he said it in an arrogant condescending way, and I said it both times humbly, saying I did not know, but would watch and learn to gain knowledge. From the first time he blindsided Wild Bill for an article that was actually praising him, just to get his losing play on the front page, to his constantly losing at every sport, he is damaged goods, to say the least. Last time wil advised him not to post so many plays. But delusional superstar he is, he could not bypass the attention, and lost everything from little league baseball to dancing with the stars. Then he goes back to Kodiak like out of control betting, and again, in his polite way tells the posters to fuck themselves when called on it. There is a reason The Shrink never appointed him a mod, same as my tag tofu. He is boring, a power abuser and wil's old pet. Good suckup. We shall see if he blows up again after a 2nd half meltdown like last time. A piss poor choice by a desperate site.

Iceman is a bit of a mystery to me. Sometimes he hits hr's, but most of the time he either fouls out or strikes out, as far as topics started. He forces, and that usually does not work. Good at picking on posters, tag teaming with deputy Ttin star, he too has all the makings of a poser. I guess for half pay the candidate pool Shrinks, and who would even want to work their under Adolf and Not so Smart Allec. Being told which books to shill for and how to act is for advanced lemmings. The ones that stand on top of the cliff and yell jump. He is world's above retread proven failure minute mod watch and learn how bad I suck Old Man Ted, but posts too much fluff and not enough substance for me.

As previously mentioned in this thread, the jump from poster to mod is sometimes hazardous to you health and rep. You know how it went to Ted's head, but Iceman is not a proven failure. I think he deserves a chance, where I would show Ted the door. Like J man, expect to never see him at a bash. I think the core problems now are with upper management, both the head mod and the gm. Until they are removed and or replaced, the epic downward spiral for the RX shall continue unabated.

Well Calvin, here I am. Always open to discussion, and would have no problem showing respect to a poster who is blunt and straightforward. Just tell it like it is. Was a bit concerned you had been stripped of your RX lemming ID card when I saw that cartoon of you urinating on ACE ACE #1 ball licker Death Eats a Cracker avatar.



They put out a APB looking for you in the rubber room. I thought even messing with the RX poster fool's groupie was grounds for expulsion, but thankfully you reappeared. Or resurfaced after your long jump and swim back to the surface. Yes, it was fun at the RX and I had a blast, but Adolf limited the animal types to mostly sheep, lemmings, ostriches and rats, no Frogs allowed. No friends of Frogs, or posters that post like Frog, whatever that is.



So being pointed at the door, or being told to hit the road Frog, was good enough for me. Still appear to be public enemy #1 over there as wil still takes his shots at me, and I have not been there for some time. I think his latest was I have not had so many complaints about a poster since OF. I guess your lemming card gets consfiscated for complaints. Good to see you posting here. I am not the mean psychotic Frog the rx tries to make me. If they can't defend themselves against the message they attack the messenger. I can live with that. The board room at Rx was a place used to rip posters and there very own sponsors. they hated jay Cohn. Theyd cover for bad books as a team. Here is another example of the way it works their.

Personally, I respect JC a lot for his passion for this industry and all that he has had to endure........HOWEVER, it seems the majority of the time is rants and raves are PAST items that have been hashed over and over many times before.........and quite frankly, many times he is very uneducated in his reasonings.

Remember a few months ago he was arguing with me that barely NO books consider the AMOUNT TO WIN on wager as part of the rollover as to AMOUNT RISKED. The fact is, I think MORE books employ the amount to win rather than risked..........which is the way it should be in my opinion. WSEX doesnt do it that way, so I guess he assummed everybook did.

Anyway, sure he will have a BOS or BetMill comlaint before the month is over........at which time I will be bumping a couple POSITIVE threads on BOS/MILL.

Rick has a new vision for The Rx that includes bringing as many new posters to the site as possible.
I am also going to work with him to better define moderator duties and clear up some of the grey areas we have to work with (censorship for example)...

For the record the natrual chain of command is still in place for routine Rx business -- first myself - then Rick - and then Marty (if need be).. but natrually I am sure Rick will be available to all of you should the need arise.

I can't believe I actually pulled off the Rx shirt stunt. Roberto was fully set up & ready to take the pic-Ken had no idea. Once we saw it on Roberto's camera, Ken just shook his head & said "I'm so screwed....".

He killed me with kindness, I was pretty much screwed. There were a tense couple of minutes at the Panama luggage pick up, but we'd been through airline hell by that point and neither one of us were up for much of an argument.....and he just killed me with kindness after that.

Weird crowd-besides myself, Ken and Clip Joint(Ryan) and the surprise SBR John & Roberto appearances, it seemed like everyone else there was a tout\service. I did manage to win a nickel in the handicapping contest & doubled it up on a super bowl prop. That at least offset some of the damage that Dave Mahoney did to me at the poker table (no thanks to Ken-who was on a roll ordering Grand Mar rounds at 3 in the afternoon leading up to our impromptu poker game). Ken damn near had to be carried away from the poker table at 7pm-his wife was SOOOO pissed.

Interesting to see Roberto there-Marty Monroe was FREAKED that he'd show his face there. I'm somewhat surprised that RC didn't get his ass kicked, or at least kicked out at the party-interesting situation to say the least.

I'm sure I'll have more to say once I get some sleep....poker until 7am the 1st night was a ROUGH start to a LONG weekend. Especially when you get your ass hustled off in the end.

JMan - Just getting caught up with all of this happening and I wish you the best. I have read through most of this thread and find the thoughts you are speaking out about all very interesting. Obviously I had a few occasional differences with you across the street long ago in terms of being on post review two times for posts I had made and issues with my avatar. But that is long gone for me at this point, and there was obviously a lot going on that you had no real control over.

Hope you can continue contributing over here on EOG when you have time.

You know when I read between the lines and the obvious attempt to explain it away as going tilt and not wanting to pay I would say J man suffered from a loss of pride. Reminds me of a very old song line, "they stripped me of everything including my pride", and it fits here.

Jman's major gripes are getting pay cut and being disrespected and asked to do something that would probably fail. If you look at what makes Jman tick there is a lot of pride involved. Whether it is a deadly sin, or false can be debated, but little doubt in my mind, his pride was offended. Look at the bodybuilding, posting the results. If he is not trolling for love connections, he is proud of his work.

I can't sit here and say J man is just a disgruntled punk now. I watched him elevate from a story telling poster to a decent mod. He may have been a douchebag at times, but we all are at one point or another. I by no means can defend his actions, nor pretend to have walked a mile in his new white Nikes, but I try to feel where he is. I liked him as a mod, and as a poster. He kept it real most of the time, did not force feed the company line and was not the worst mod I have ever seen by any measure. Maybe by venting here he has gotten somewhat of a release, but you have to figure he dynomited the bridge to the rx, his place for the last 5 years. It had to have been much more than falling behind on a bet payment. When you attack someone's pride it goes a lot deeper.

They asked him not to do it, but he did anyway. There was a battle between them, and Ken has been on a smear campaign ever since. (I actually think they sued him for slander and won.)

So be ready for some ghost to show up with bad things to say about SBG. I will watch for them as well and will post as needed.

Why are they rated D- at SBR? That seems pretty low for even sportsbook.com. I sometimes think those low rankings have as much to do with poor affiliate percentages as anything else ... thoughts?
