No need to write an essay. Trump doesn't win often but always big. Extreme dirty tricks and cheating always available but it's practically 100% Trump will not be convicted by a DC jury before election day. They'd have to put him on trial in October and get a quick rubber stamp verdict. Putting aside the "extreme" options, what I posted is the realistic play. Put Trump on trial late fall and get a conviction after election day. Use that to refuse to accept and allow his inauguration. And they can do the same thing without a conviction. Say he can't take the sacred oath unless he is found not guilty.
This may seem unrealistic and ridiculous and dangerous but they don't give a shit. They will light the country on fire to stop Trump short. He's going to win in a walk if he stays alive and there is an election. Magic Johnson can't save him with ballots Showtime.

He wins because it will catapult him electorally to the point New York becomes a Kenny battleground and Trump chooses Lee Zeldin as running mate to win New York and end the election. 0 path for Joe without New York. 1988 map.
