Here's there email to me:

Sir

All players who wager on the in progress line must also wager on other regular lines (spreads, moneylines, and totals) or the account will be closed. As of today, you must wager at least 5 times your in progress lines volume each day on other regular listed games as well.

Your account has been locked until you confirm your understanding of this with a return email.

If you wish to close your account please email us back and we will return your funds immediately.

Thanks for youe understanding.

This all comes after my in progress lines limit was halved. In addition to this, wagerwebs payout policies are less than desirable ($2000 free per month and $20 per $1000 after that). Add that to vanilla lines, full juice
97% of the week, and low limits - and you have a useless book. Bye bye wagerweb.

I had this sort of thing happen to me (back when it was Casablanca) way back when with props. I was betting mostly props (with already low $200 limits and 30 cent vig) and they wanted me to bet 5X that on other stuff. Don't appreciate when books try to dictate to me how much to wager on what. That ain't cool. Maybe they can save their members even more time and just let them know what they're betting and enter it in for them. That'd be real convenient.

Sir, We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your preference and choosing us as one of your #1 sporstbooks. Also, we will like to inform you that we have restructured our reward program and due to some changes your account will no longer be eligible to receive that on Mondays. You are still welcomed to take advantage of all our free contests and other promotions. Let me apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. If you have any questions or want to submit any comments, please feel free to email me back. Best Regards,Rebeca Williamspr@wagerweb.com

I have never heard of a such a ridiculous rule like that before. Closing a player's account because the book is not happy with the proportioning of wagers? What kind of nonsense is this?

I think I will go to Wagerweb's site and see if they have any similar rules posted there.

Why did they change names from CASABLANCA ? Did they have $$$ problems ? Thought it was a cool name because of the GREAT flick where Humphrey Bogart(sp) has a small casino & was the MAN .

Wasn't there another book that recently made this same stipulation regarding prop bets? For the life of me I can't remember who it was ...

I searched all over Wagerweb's site and could not find even a hint that they required 5 times the amount on straight wagers versus in-running bets. Not a word anywhere about having your account suspended or closed if you did not comply.

Looks like they think it is alright to just make up and enforce imaginary rules as they go.

I still cannot find any rules requiring 5 times the amount on straight wagers, or about the potential to declare certain players ineligible to receive further promotions, but I did find some items of interest regarding Neteller transactions.

This is the deposit information:

Fees:
There are no fees charged to transfer money from NETeller.

Limit:
$2500 per transaction. Multiple transactions accepted.

Transaction Time:
Immediate if done below. If done from the NETeller site, deposit may take up to 15 minutes to be credited.

This is the withdrawal information:

Fees:
$20 per transaction.

Limits:
$1,000 per day.

Transaction Time:
Same day if submitted before 11:00 AM ET.
After 11:00 AM ET processed the following day.

Apparently you can send Wagerweb $2500 with "multiple transactions accepted", but you can only withdraw $1,000 per day. Deposits are free, while withdrawals cost $20 each.

Deposits are immediate, or may take as long as 15 minutes, but if you ever want any of your money back then you have to make the request before 11 AM, or it will not be processed until the following day.

That $2500 that went in immediately will now take at least 3 days and $50 to get it back.

Those are some very significant differences for the exact same transaction.

What a surprise that The "I never met a book I could not like" General thinks that Wagerweb is a good book.

To recap, a "good book for most" is one that:

1. Makes up and then enforces imaginary rules that only benefit themselves.

2. Offer promotions for the life of your account when you sign up, but then get taken away if you are not a losing chump.

3. Allow you to send them unlimited amounts of money at no charge that gets instantly credited to your account, but should you decide to ever withdraw any of YOUR money, you can only do it in $1,000 daily increments, it may take more than a day, and it will cost you $20 each time.

Yes, that sure sounds like a "good book for most".

Thanks for sharing your completely unbiased opinion.
