I'm sure their losses are large, and the economic effects are enormous, however they are doing this to rid ukraine of Nazi's, unlike the west they dont have to worry about flagging public opinion because 80%+ of the people are behind it. And unlike in europe the effects of the war are barely noticeable in russian cities.
The US thinks we are bleeding them, the reality is the reverse, they are draining the west both economically and millitaraly So far the US has spent $100 billion and europe will lose trillions in energy costs and economic losses - russia is making more money than before the war..
