Theory is the Books know ( and us calculators) the true line so why change it, there has to be a good reason other than wantits public nonsense. As I've said before, in this day and age there are very few idiots like years ago that has any impact on the odds. NFL odds dosent work in consequitive numbers but in blocks EG: 0-3, 3.5-7, 7.5-9.5. etc So the reality is books dont just play vig but points within a block to produce the same thing. -9.5 is the same thing as -7.5 but the books can blind you into taking heavy vig.
Its when the books jump from one block to another you need to take note, they dont do this lightly and you're better off taking the team that has shortened. Sometimes that initial lean can be bet back, but its not by informed money. This week sees 3 plays and as normal grab key nubers when they arise.
