I get the whole the bucks stop at the top.
But what I haven't heard explained since the event happened is how involved was she in Trump's day-to-day detail.
I would think that a SS director based in DC would be more involved in sitting in meetings with bureaucrats, being lobbied, going to dinners, meeting with other directors of like the NSA, FBI, homeland security, maybe even the CIA, or the Treasury - b/c apparently the SS is in charge of counterfeit money operations and various other stuff that most of us would think the FBI would be in charge of - and with all those meetings, conferences, etc etc. - I wouldn't think a SS director would be that involved in Trump's non-stop moving around.
Trump holds rallies(merch selling events) all the time. He hosts dinners/fundraisers at his clubs all the time. He golfs non-stop. He's always on the move.
I'd think he'd have a SS group assigned to him - that he's approved of - who'd be in charge of any and all planning for his events.
Again, I get the whole 'the buck stops at the top' type mentality. I just would like more info on how involved a SS director(past or present) is on his every event.
Plus we still haven't learned - until they release a "full" detailed report - of how many local/state agencies were involved in the event. And was it last minute planning? Had any of those local/state LEO's ever worked an event at that location, a concert, a fair, anything? Has any past political candidate or politician used that location for an event of any sorts?
I read that one of the reasons Trump had/has been hosting rallies at more and more outdoor events vs indoors, is b/c he owes so much money all overt he country to past cities for events. He's apparently stiffed a shit-ton of cities on venues and/or police details and added security for him being in town.
I get that it seems "staged" from a conspiracy standpoint - heck, anything can be made to seem like a conspiracy. But, it seems more logical that with all the rhetoric Trump's spewed for yrs now, along with so many other GOP politicians, with all the demonizing and hatred, that there's bound to be someone that would eventually take a chance on eliminating him.
Add in putting himself out there at events nonstop, that just ups the possibilities. At some point the odds of it happening kept increasing.
Add in the fact that a lot of those SS agents that are around him almost daily and have done so many rallies - and knowing, or assuming, you are in MAGA country and people that go to those events fawn over him and want to hear the greatest hits over and over - the SS agents probably become a little laxed and it becomes a 'time to make the donuts' type routine.
And you got local police, local sheriffs deputies, average local event security people, some area SWAT sniper guys from surrounding counties, and the SS team - and everyone on probably various channels - that when the first people were noticing dude up on roof and telling whichever local security person, or local cop - they were having to relay to their superior, and then that has to get relayed, and then there's questions "where?, who is it? what building?" etc etc. And trying to communicate that to the right channel to the SS - i can see where it could get a little hectic.
Because they say that that building was being used for local police staging, AND that there was other various cops inside of it, and 3 other snipers from other surrounding areas were INSIDE chilling out.
The kid just wanted to make a mark on the world. He knew he was gonna be killed. And the list of people or groups he could've been upset with and was maybe doing it as big 'F, you!" is a long and hypothetical scenario.
Just lackadaisical breakdown from all local agencies and the SS just taking another rally for granted as nothing much ever happens, and a perfect timing of the kid to decide that he wanted to die but try and change history at same time.

Here's the deal, no one's saying she was there and screwed up, she's not personally at fault - BUT it is her responsibility.
We dont know yet the entire chain of events that caused this, but trumps security detail asked repeatedly for more manpower and was denied multiple times - he gets huge crowds and it takes far more people to manage that than some others who dont. Then you have the obvious failures onsite - not covering the roof, not pulling him off stage, etc, today it comes out that he shot 8 times before he was taken out - that's pretty bad since they had an eye on him already.
As such she's got to go, why did the head of Boeing resign? Same reason.

Local is blaming Federal. Federal is blaming local....that's one of the problems with detailing the security failure.
