Moving money to and from sportsbooks becoming a pain in the asteroid.

Western Union is the method I've been using for years. Now they are asking a lot of questions when it comes to offshore transactions. Even saw where some are getting "blacklisted" due to gambling. I know theres Neteller, Firepay and so on but no way am I giving my bank info to anyone. If you aren't in the "know" its almost impossible to find a decent credit out. So I'm thinking about taking up golf or something. Anyone want to tee it up?.....lol

Have you tried Solid Pay? A lot less hassle than Western Union. But, I agree with you Western Union is a pain in the butt and I wouldn't use it unless it was the only option left.

I havc used WU since the early 90s without a hassle until recently. Now I refuse to use them. If you are a smaller player, I would suggest buying prepaid visa or mastercard credit cards for deposits. I have used them seveal time without any hassles.

Dont those prepaid visa or mastercard carry a hefty sir-charge/fee? Something like 6-9%

Set up one extra account at your (bank) for gambling and link it with Neteller and firepay

Real simple Ace

JJ is right .... I have one account in Vegas at Wells Fargo Bank that ONLY gets Gambling industry funds in and out .... all done online ... since I don't live in Vegas. Never had a SINGLE issue with Neteller and them.

I've only ever used NETeller. If consdering a second options, what do you guys think would be the closest service to NETeller nowadays, in terms of how it works, fee structure, ease of use, long-term viability, etc.? (Sorry if this has been answered in another thread - it's a discussion that tends to come up every once in a while, but I usually don't pay attention)

bunyon, open up a 2nd checking/savings account. Many people are doing this that are not gamblers but are buying merchandise over the internet.

One other thing you may not know. You're covered if someone commits bank fraud on your account. The bank would reimburse your funds. I recommend Neteller. You will wonder why you did not open an account sooner.

Sam,

The prepaid visa debit/credit cards I have used cost $10 to buy and you can add up to 2500. The sportsbooks do not charge a fee for its use and some give a bonus. I have been pleased with the results so far.

neteller wait time for EFT deposits are horrible. i suggest using instacash at a book that covers those charges.

I was talking to fund the account from your bank account...EFT takes 3-5 days with Neteller where instacash is 8.9% .....Firepay is 3.99....Most books take care of the fees no matter what...
