Frustrated gamblers cry fix. In The Pros guys make too much money to fix games. It is possible in some college sports every once in a while and usually involves a heavy favorite not covering but winning the game.
True JJ.....
But in all reality, how hard would it REALLY be for, let's say, the NFL to be fixed.......
Let's assume Vegas acts as the "Base" of all activity, and the "fix" would only apply to Vegas itself.
Next, let's just use the NFL for an example now, & Vegas are affiliated, or on the same "team".
Of course, millions of dollars in wagers go in for that specific day.
With all of Vegas' technology, by halftime all figures throughout Vegas are done, and the percentages and math is done to figure which way each game should finish in order to benefit Vegas/NFL the most.
Before halftime is over, or into the 3rd quarter, a simple relay of information is then made to each game to the proper persons, revealing what needs to happen, and then bingo, there you have it...........:doh1 Would also explain how they could afford to pay the players the ridiculous amounts of money that they do, and how so many games shift so dramatically in the 2nd halves.
Far Fetched of course, but wouldn't be that hard to do.
My gosh what suckers we would be........lol
