First of all, no one is debating that Oddsmaker has made their mistakes. Oddsmaker is not under the same ownership that it always has been. They don't have the same management today as they did when several crooked decisions were made.

Here are some facts:

1. Other people have received the same bonus, won, and been paid.
2. Their records show that Not One other person sent that email on to anyone else who tied to collect a bonus.
3. Their records show that Not a single person other than jimmy/father called any number but the one given.

You discount the call so easily, but very simple proof of what took place. Not ONE other person called a number other than the one given. Not a soul.

Why do you think Mr Jimmy was singled out? Perhaps because he lied, made threats, and tried to cheat their system. Oddsmaker has paid out much more money than this, off of this very same bonus, and had no issue. Oddsmaker, under this ownership, has sided with the player and admitted their own errors in disputes.

This is a simple case of a player trying to take advantage of an offer and per oddsmakers rules, that is not allowed.

None of what you just said PROVES he was trying to abuse a bonus.

Furthermore, this is the first I have heard that they are no longer under the same ownership. I am calling BS, not on you, but on them if that is what they are claiming.

The evidence against jimmy is weak and based on some assumption. Multiple accounts were not opened. Multiple bonuses were not paid. Sharing an unsolicited e-mail is certainly not grounds for keeping $8400 in winnings.

And lets remember, Jimmy did not ask Oddsmaker to give him a free $500. They were trying to suck him in. Too fucking bad it didn't work out this time.

Was he trying to abuse their bonus system? Maybe, maybe not. The burden of proof is on Oddsmaker.

As far as the moral character of the parties is concerned, Oddsmaker loses. As you know they have stolen many times in the past. From other players, from senior citizens. They don't discriminate.

It doesn't say anywhere in their rules and regulations that oddsmaker has to prove they were being robbed, in order not to honor their vip bonus program...

It simple says the following:

Professional players or players considered to be abusing the bonus system by any means may have bonuses revoked and be subject to further sanctions, at the discretion of OddsMaker.com management.

I hate to say it, because I don't agree with EOG's position on this issue, but the next time another issue similar in degree of polarity arises (that is, there seems to be a clear cut right side and wrong side), you, mofome, and shrink need to get your game straight.

That means Ken plays "bad cop" and the head mod plays "good cop". But you guys fucked up and instead played bad cop and bad cop. Two bad cops pisses people off. There has to be a good cop, else you get the masses to revolting against you!

I don't need to get a 'game' straight, this is no game to me. I can do nothing more than judge the situation based upon the facts that I am presented with. Everyone wants to root for the little guy, but sometimes the little guy is in the wrong.

Why would you need consent to share unsolicited junk mail with someone. If Oddsmaker did not want to give a generous bonus to the next person then they certainly are within their rights not too. The e-mail itself did not guarantee a bonus, there was still a sign up and approval process. The new account was deemed to not qualify for a $500 free play. Life goes on.

Really grasping at straws here.

Players free roll on books using bonus abuse or charge backs.

Books free roll on players using terms and condition littered with gray areas. The gray areas are only used to the books advantage.

A simple "you are not entitled to this bonus" ends the whole Jimmy's dad thing. You can not abuse a bonus that was never given to you.

Jimmy only received his bonus. He won using his bonus. He gained no advantage from the father situation. If he had lost the free play and later won 8400 on money he deposited, what then. Still no pay?

The reason I ever came to EOG in April of last year, was to complain about Oddsmaker. I had received a similar offer to Jimmy's, a free $200. Mixed in with my initial bets, was a $20 teaser. Realizing I had violated the terms, I e-mailed them and asked for permission to continue the promotion by giving up the teaser bet. I wanted clarification that I would still be able to continue without jeopordizing future winnings.

I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM, despite 6 e-mails(I wanted it in writing that I could continue).

Came here to bitch as Shrink was on the back of their Ad, and ended up sticking around.

I would never recommend Oddsmaker to anyone.

What shitty customer service.. THIS BOOK WILL NEVER SEE A PENNY FROM ME

I was on the phone half listening to my dad and half watching the games on sportsline. My dad was asking me what i was doing. I told him bout the deal i got, he started asking questions about the company and to get him off the phone i said ill forward you the email i got.

He then opened an account and called the number on the website.

Why is this so hard for you guys to get???? you think there was some elaborate plan in place. believe me if i had a plan in place to scam a book for bonus money it would be a lot more extensive. this is crazy. spinning everything to justify a bad decision.

the strongest point made all day was the first email i received had rules on it and nowhere did it mention bonus abuse. see below one more time.
