Which FIVE trade robberies below are the greatest of all-time? (Vote for FIVE)
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer72973" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to Lakers -- With Kareem unhappy in Milwaukee, the Bucks dealt him to L.A. for Junior Bridgeman, Dave Meyers, Elmore Smith and Brian Winters. Once the Lakers drafted Magic Johnson, Kareem and the Lakers won five NBA titles.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer72976" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Jeff Bagwell to Astros -- Despite being drafted in the fourth round in 1989, Bagwell was dealt to the Astros the following year for aging reliever Larry Andersen. While Andersen was traded to the Padres after one year, Bagwell has had an outstanding career, all with the Astros.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer72980" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Lou Brock to Cardinals -- The Cubs traded Brock to St. Louis for pitcher Ernie Broglio. While Broglio went just 7-19 over 2 1/2 seasons in Chicago, Lou Brock went on to help the Cards to a World Series title that year and become the all-time stolen base leader at the time, including 118 in 1974 alone.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer72984" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Kobe Bryant to Lakers -- The Lakers traded center Vlade Divac to the Hornets, which had drafted Bryant with the 13th overall selection in 1996.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer72989" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Steve Carlton to Phillies -- After a 1971 season in which Carlton won 20 games for the Cardinals, he demanded to be traded. St. Louis then dealt him to Philadelphia for Rick Wise. Wise won 32 games in his only two seasons in St. Louis, while Carlton went on to anchor the Phillies staff for the next decade, finishing with 329 career wins.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer72993" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Wilt Chamberlain to Warriors -- Despite the fact that Wilt went to Kansas, the Warriors got the NBA to agree that, since Chamberlain grew up in Philadelphia, the Warriors held his territorial rights. The rest is history.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer73000" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Dennis Eckersley to Athletics -- The Cubs traded Eckersley and Dan Rohn to the A's for Dave Wilder, Brian Guinn and Mark Leonette. While the three players Chicago got never reached the majors, Eckersley went on to average 44 saves per season from 1989 to 1992, helping the A's to four division titles and a World Series crown.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer73010" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Phil Esposito to Bruins -- In 1967, the Blackhawks shipped Esposito and two others to Boston in exchange for Pit Martin and two others. Martin enjoyed a fine career, but didn't win a Stanley Cup. Meanwhile, Esposito won two Hart Trophies, two Stanley Cups and retired second all-time in points and goals, and third in assists.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer73011" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Brett Favre to Packers -- Green Bay acquired Favre from Atlanta for the 17th overall pick in the 1992 draft, which became running back Tony Smith. Smith went on to rush for 329 yards and serve mostly as a kick and punt returner in his three NFL seasons. Favre replaced Don Majkowski in Week 3 of the 1992 season and hasn't missed a game since.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer73012" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Dominik Hasek to Sabres -- Chicago traded Hasek to Buffalo for Stephane Beauregard and a 4th-round pick (Eric Daze). While Daze enjoyed a decent career, Hasek wound up as a six-time Vezina Trophy winner and two-time Hart Trophy winner.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer73013" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Ferguson Jenkins to Cubs -- Jenkins was dealt by the Phillies, along with two others, to the Cubs in exchange for Larry Jackson and Bob Buhl. While Jackson and Buhl combined to win just 47 games with the Phillies over three seasons, Jenkins won 284 games and a Cy Young award in 1971.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer73014" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Pedro Martinez to Expos -- The Dodgers traded Martinez to the Expos for Delino DeShields. While DeShields batted just .250 in his three seasons with the Dodgers, Pedro won 55 games with a 3.13 ERA in four seasons with Montreal before being dealt again.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer73015" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Christy Mathewson to Giants -- The Giants bought him for $1,500 from Norfolk of the Virginia League, but returned him to Norfolk when he lost his first three decisions, declaring the deal cancelled and demanding their money back. He was then drafted by the Reds for $100 and traded to the Giants for sore-armed Amos Rusie. Mathewson went on to 373 games in his big-league career.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer73016" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Robert Parish to Celtics -- Boston traded two first-round draft picks (Joe Barry Carroll and Rickey Brown) to Golden State for Parish and the Warriors' 1980 first-rounder (which the Celtics used to draft Kevin McHale). During Parish's 14-year run with Boston, the Celtics made the playoffs 13 times and won three NBA titles.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer73017" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Jerry Rice to 49ers -- San Francisco traded up to select Rice 16th overall in 1984, despite a common notion that his stats were inflated by a pass-happy offense at Mississippi Valley State. Rice went on to play in 13 Pro Bowls and hold just about every career receiving record in the NFL.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer73018" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Frank Robinson to Orioles -- After batting .296 with 33 HR and 113 RBI for the Reds in 1965, Robinson was traded to Baltimore, along with outfield prospect Dick Simpson for Milt Pappas and Jack Baldschun. Robinson won the MVP and Triple Crown in his first season with the O's en route to the team's first World Series championship.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer73019" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Bill Russell to Celtics -- Boston traded Ed Macauley and Cliff Hagan to St. Louis to get Russell. While St. Louis did win an NBA title in 1958, the acquisition of Russell started the Celtics' dynasty.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer73020" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Nolan Ryan to Angels -- The Mets traded Ryan to the Angels for infielder Jim Fregosi. Fregosi battled injuries with the Mets and was sold to Texas two years later. Seven years after the trade, Fregosi was hired to manage the Angels and Ryan, who was well on his way to becoming baseball's all-time strikeout king.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer73021" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Ryne Sandberg to Cubs -- Sandberg was a ''throw-in'' in a deal that sent Larry Bowa to the Cubs and Ivan DeJesus to the Phillies. Sandberg won the NL MVP award just two years later and went on to a Hall of Fame career.
</td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"><input name="answer73022" value="1" type="checkbox"></td><td>Herschel Walker to Vikings -- Minnesota gave up five players and six mostly high future draft picks to the Cowboys to get Walker in hopes of making a run at the Super Bowl. The Vikings lost early in the playoffs that season and missed the next two years as Walker never gained more than 825 yards in either of his two full seasons. Meanwhile, Dallas turned those draft picks into Emmitt Smith, Russell Maryland, Kevin Smith, Darren Woodson and Clayton Holmes and won consecutive Super Bowls.
