Re: Game over-It's time to out all the stiffs

Big shock to see the victim role played out. I was a victim of losing my job. I was a victim of the industry. And to top it off he has to start off with a "but I am a great capper I could pick more winners than losers" Keep telling yourself how great you are you poor victim.

J-man is well on his way to winning the biggest contest E.O.G. has ever had
Everything will work out fine

The online handicapping contests of the year have arrived!

EOG and Doc's Sports have partnered to bring you a unique NFL and CFB capping contest. The winners will have a potential opportunity to handicap professionally at Doc?s Sports website where they would be paid for their picks and earn the same commissions as the current handicappers at Doc's earn. This option is available provided that they are fully committed of course!?

Family owned and operated since 1971, Doc's has built its reputation on honesty and hard work instead of gimmicks or false advertising. Doc?s expert team has grown from a handful of highly placed friends to one of the best connected networks of sports handicappers in the nation. Doc's currently has five professional handicappers. Win the contest and be added to their team!

Doc's Sports provides daily updated sports handicapping information including stats, odds, matchup reports, scores and picks from its team of handicappers. Doc's Sports is one of the most reputable services in the industry with no high pressure sales staff, no multi-tier subscriptions and no B.S. Doc's staff is courteous and easy to work with.

THE CONTESTS:

Two simultaneous handicapping contests will be offered at EOG. One contest will last the entire college football season and the other the entire NFL season. The winners of both contests will be offered contracts at Doc's to post and be paid for their plays for an entire season of NFL, CFB or sport of their choice. (There will be more details to follow)?

THE RULES:
  • All participants must be registered at the EOG
  • There will be only one entry or IP address per person
  • Contest will start with the first regular season game and end with the last regular season game (Aug. 28th-Jan. 8th in CFB and Sep. 4th-Feb. 1st for the NFL).
  • VERY IMPORTANT: Participants must send an email with their intent to enter in one or both contests to shrink@eog.com no later than 12:01 P.M. EDT Wednesday August 27th. Failure to do so will result in non participation in either contest.
  • ONLY PLAYS WILL BE POSTED IN THE CONTEST THREADS BY PARTICIPANTS ONLY. NO COMMENTS OR BASHING WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE CONTEST THREADS. THIS IS A SERIOUS CONTEST. A SEPARATE THREAD WILL BE CREATED FOR COMMENTS IF NEEDED.
  • This is not a head-to-head contest against individual opponents. This contest is you against the field and will be graded as such.
  • Points are awarded to each contestant: one point for a win, 1/2 for a push and no point for a loss. One "Best Bet" pick per week will be worth two points for a win, one point for a push and no points for a loss.
  • The players in each contest with the most points at the end of each season are the winners.
  • Plays will include the regular season, NFL playoffs and bowl season.
  • Absolutely no emailing of plays to moderators or friends. Plays must be posted at the EOG in the contest thread by the participant only.
  • Failure to select the required amount of plays during the week, playoffs and bowl season will result in a minus one point for each play not selected to meet the requirement

  • Deadline to post will be 30 minutes prior to the posted start time of the first game on your play list. The EOG thread time will be the official time for any disputes. If any plays are posted past the deadline, they will be no action. Only plays posted on time will be graded. Editing will be permitted in the first five minutes - no reason needed. Getting paid to handicap games requires you to give your customers plays in a timely matter.
  • Everyone will use the same lines.
  • The lines will be posted ASAP and will not change.
  • Only plays entered in the correct contest thread will be counted. Use all of your games in one post. If you start a new thread with your picks it will be deleted. You must post in the contest thread.
  • The administration will be the official judge of the contest and will settle any disputes.
  • Standings will be kept weekly.
  • Selection of a game not posted will result in no action.
  • Posters must have a minimum of 100 posts on EOG by start of tournament.
  • We reserve the right to post amendments to these rules when necessary.

CFB Specific Contest Rules:

One "Best Bet" pick per week will be worth two points for a win, one point for a push and no points for a loss.
  • Plays will consist of Division I games only.
  • Contestants must pick 15 of 30 bowl games starting with the New Orleans Bowl on December 21st. Contestants will pick no more or no less than 15 games in the bowl season. (We reserve the right to announce a no copy rule and the rules regarding this will be announced if need be).

Failure to select five plays will result in minus one point for each play fewer than five. One "Best Bet" pick per week will be worth two points for a win, one point for a push and no points for a loss.
  • All playoff games must be handicapped. (We reserve the right to announce a no copy rule and the rules regarding this will be announced if need be).
  • Only sides and totals will be allowed. No ML plays, halves etc.
PRIZES:
  • First place(s) - Each Football winner will receive a contract at Doc's Sports to handicap for one full sport/season and possibly earn thousands from their pick sales, which could of course lead into bigger and better things.

Re: Game over-It's time to out all the stiffs

One thing I have noticed over the years is that people that condone this type of behavior, usually exhibit it. Those most vocal against it, have been burned by it.

But just think, if we didnt have the Jscam drama to talk about, what would we discuss? Sports? Gambling? That would never work at a site like this.

Wow what an entertaining read this was!

Ok my scorecard has the following:

Journeyman accused of one charge of stiffing and has not acknowledged the debt at all, charge still pending

Spreadbeater accused of stiffing and confirmed to be in debt but is in slowpay mode so no longer a stiff it seems, maybe never was a stiff actually

Clipjoint accused of Oceans Elevening many sportsbooks and has since been unheard from since. Kind of like forumvilles Danny Ocean just no chicks

Madcapper not currently accused of anything but in this thread it was revealed he was a former stiff on 3 seperate occasions and apparently has gone good from what it seems.

Thats all i can gather with regards to stiffs in this thread.

Other events for the scorecard:

Dsethi and Bro were incorrectly labeled as sort of stiffs and their lawsuit against TTinco is currently pending. Judge Wapner will reside in there hearings.

Finally we have a charge of stealing RX members against TTinco that has been tossed by Journeyman and to my knowledge has not been answered yet, so its still in a pending status

Re: Game over-It's time to out all the stiffs

Interesting thread...

Speaking from many years of experience, many gamblers get into trouble and make mistakes in their life...most of us have been there...

What separates the good guys vs the bad guys...the intentions of getting what is owed to the right person...slow pay is better than no pay...a man's word is sufficient for me but the person owing should not take his time in paying his debt..,obviously TTinCo gave JMAN every opportunity to make payments, he fell behind and now JMAN is trying to blame TTinCo for his misfortunes...easy solution would be for JMAN to man up and pay TTinCo his money and move on without the bullshit...

I agree with Joey, rats and stiffs have no place in a gambling forum...

The smartest move anyone can make that owes money, is to fess up and not put blame on others (such as Joey from Cascade) This stuff goes a long way to protect ones integrity and honesty...fast pay makes fast friends...just my 2 cents

Re: Game over-It's time to out all the stiffs

Cee,

So what is the real story with Lawrence and Jo-Jo Rex?

they lost much more than i did to an ex mod agent. Theirs was around 10k each and they had no way to pay it. So they had to leave forum world forever or face the abuse of the peanut gallery

Re: Game over-It's time to out all the stiffs

As far as I know and after reading this thread there is not one person saying they are stiffs so to make this statement OSU is a little premature to say the least.

I've dealt with Raj over several months now and to me he is a very honest and trustworthy guy without fail. I'm certain many other posters would say the same thing about both of them.

Things arent always as they appear my friend. 12io4j2w90

I have never spoken out of my ass on these forums. :thumbsup

OSU has as much integrity as anyone on any forum. I know this for a fact, this is not an opinion of mine. If he says something then you should pay attention. He's not exactly whimsical.

Since touts have been mentioned, I guess the next logical steps is the brothers of touts-specifically ones that whine about needing more credit, get it, blow it and then proceed to inform you that they don't have a cent to their name.

That folks is what you refer to as a freerolling piece of shit.

TT...

could you please elaborate on what dsethi and skinsraj did to you?

What if one is talking and knows more than a "little" about it? :+clueless

I can tell by what you are saying that you might not have the most accurate info...

For example, 1 of the brothers has nothing to do with this at all yet you bring this up like they are both involved....

Two more great posters the Rx lost, and a mod is kicked to the curb.....you figure it out.

The list of posters who owe money is long and many big, big names...even some in this very thread who have not been noted.

Is the dsethi and skins part really true? That would shock me especially the way they have harassed people in the past for the same offense.

ray...

i am not sure what the truth is.

all i know is that TT made a strong reference to being stiffed by the both of 'em...and

where are they in this thread? to say he is lying here?

they seem to have disappeared...and are now being referred to as 'freerolling pieces of shit' by someone that knows 'em.

Re: Game over-It's time to out all the stiffs

What if they were on here berating other stiffs?

Would you change your position then?

Yes, definately. The guys that stiffed me no longer post. If they did, I would probably blast them. I certainly understand TT's anger.

I know everything first hand my friend. EVERYTHING.

They shared accounts. There were IP checks to prove it.

They both are responsible for an unpaid debt.

Re: Game over-It's time to out all the stiffs

For the record there is a big difference between stiffs, and slow pays. Got no problem with someone who gets in over their head and needs to make payments.

Funny that stiffs can pile on other stiffs. Especially guys like these that were so big on their "name" and status in the online gambling community.

Complete frauds. Complete.

well said...

They wont be here Tony. They have stiffed and ran.

Trust me I was as shocked as you when I was told by TWO different people that they had credit with that they were stiffs. TWO.

Frauds. Both of them.

I can say for 100% fact neither one of them owes him a cent and never have been in the position to owe him money.

Re: Game over-It's time to out all the stiffs

RF,

Dont give us that BS. You have been in here defending and sticking up for Spread for months now. How do you feel about him now that he is a known stiff? Or did you know all along?

To say he is not your boy now seems awfully convenient. :thumbsup

What is bullshit? You should know by now that I am not a liar. Feel I have always been truthful about everything on here. As for spreadbeater, I have always enjoyed his read over the years. Guy actually knows something about the nba, which happens to be a passion of mine. He has always had a pretty large following view his stuff, something Frog cannot stand, so he picked a game when he had the other side, and won, which doesn't happen very often and attack out of the blue, out of envy for his large following. Then proceeded to get absolutely killed. He knew nothing of the debt owed to Terry. I did though. However, did not know it was not taken care of yet, or maybe how big it seems it may be, as I was not told amounts. The two issues have nothing to do with each other. One issue is Spreadbeater getting in over his head and hopefully doing the right thing as we move forward, the other issue is Frog liking to act like his dick is biggest, when in fact it has completely schriveled up with old age. Defending him constantly makes you look silly. You are too good for that.
