I give credit where credit is due. Jimmy I believe has taken the challenge 2X. That already puts him in rarified EOG air. 3X will have to consult Computer Bob. I would say Birdie and maybe nobody else?

Dell I will respectively correct you. This is my 5th shot at the challenge. Won my first rodeo with an 18-9 record. The challenge was kind of new way back when and Computer Bob can step in at any time. Navigation around Pinnacle was tough back then until realizing on how to convert lines to hundreds variable when it came to risk. Second time I held to date the worst record at 3-13 never getting off the ground missing 8 of my first 9 plays. I also lost the third time around going 8 and 13 but that might not be completely accurate but a lot better than try 2 and cb can confirm.

You know the dramatic story all too well last season. 5-0 and 12-3 starts our if the gate and midpoint. Then the horrible slump going just 4-9 and facing elimination before hitting LAD Col over with Dodgers getting to the total themselves, and then changing play with little time left from the rained out Yankees to Arizona as a big dog. The Gurriel slam and Nelson gen was all but needed to know.

"For it's one, two, three strikes you're out at the old ball game, let's get some runs". "Oh wait, we already have enough, nevermind ."

JK had a saying "It takes two teams to make an OVER", this was a game that shows "the exception proves the rule". LOL

I'm still smarting from a wager in a no-hitter game from 1997.

I bet UNDER 8.5 runs.

Final score: Marlins 9 Giants 0.

Through six innings, neither team had recorded a hit.

Kevin Brown v William (?) VanLandingham.

My rib dinner at Tony Roma's was ruined.

One problem for under bettors with non-competitive games in the late innings: You don't know who is crawling out of the bullpen from either side.

Not ruined as badly as Lefty Rosenthal’s was on Oct 4th, 1982.
It’s all relative.

"On October 4, 1982, Rosenthal survived an assassination attempt in Las Vegas, in which a bomb attached to the gasoline tank was detonated when he started his car.[8] The 1981 Cadillac Eldorado was in the parking lot of Tony Roma's restaurant at 620 E. Sahara Avenue. Rosenthal survived because of a metal plate under the driver's seat, installed by General Motors in the model to correct a balancing problem."

Almost gave new meaning to Tony Roma's barbequed ribs.

Question about Rosenthal. Why didn't they attempt a 2nd assassination? After he survived, he was in the clear without anything that I know of changing.

Rumour has it Rosenthal would pay the hotel porter $5 to start his car every night.

But seriously, word on the street was that after the Tony Roma incident, Lefty flipped.
Feds wanted the big bosses like the Civella brothers, Accardo, Lombardo, and Ballistreri.
The feds were building “the family secrets” trials as their long term goal.
They believed they needy Lefty to turn states evidence.
He was given 24-7 security as needed.
