Re: Del Potro over Nadal
first, revolver, thanks for starting this thread. i love tennis and play often, even though i'm an old fuck at 61.
i see two defensive players, neither of which employs a startegy
to set up the other for a winner. delpotro, the harder hitter might
make more unforced errors, as this match is the furthest he has
gotton in a grand slam. also, his movement on hardcourt is not
up to the standards of the remaining semifinalists.
nadal, i am very impressed with is mental approach--he just hates
to lose. his knees seem not to limit his movement. his abdominal
discomfort will hinder his serve, but his serve, except when served
wide, is never a factor. i believe nadal does have the where with all
to adapt his startegy while del potro's game is one dimensional.
the line at @-130 nadal is a good line. i see 5 sets with nadal holding on
as del potro will tire should i be correct and the match lasts 5 sets.
anyway it should be an entertaining match to watch
