Books cleaned up to day that is for sure.

Washington...wipe out
Jax... wipe out
Cinci no cover
SF SU winner
SD covers all numbers when everyone was on KC AND it went UNDER
Mia SU winner

Only games I see books "losing" Denver, Dallas, and Carolina(and that is not for sure), Houston (maybe) Oak(up and down but some late on Oak) and over.

Not to mention all the teasers people played that got destroyed by TB losing SU.

Not a single line mattered today, opener or closer, in a week where I saw more movement than I can remember in a LONG LONG time. So if the books were doing well before today, they are surley rolling in it right now.

If Buffalo covers they will need a to back the truck up, since I think everyone that got buried today is loading up on NE.

Then tomorrow it will proably be Pitt again, with maybe a little buy back from the guys that got the 8s and 8.5s early on.

I though people were loving Lions too. Some stat like 7-0 ATS at home and shit. Love it when people bet according to those ATS stats, fucken losers.

That game never moved off the 3, so not sure, also the ML on the Bears hit apex mid week. So i think themoney was back and forth on that game. I got lucky with the OT win by the bears, they win by 6 in OT more than any team I have ever seen. Didn't ned to do it today, but just one of those odd things I notice with them.

JJ they will be doing a lot better here the next few weeks, looks like a lot of oddball spreads coming out for the next weeks games. Be interesting to see where the money goes early.

If Buffalo and Bmore don't cover, the books will get squashed this week. SF covering was huge for the books. At Noon today, i talked to an agent out of Orlando, and he told me that at his book he was affiliated with, there had been 45 dimes bet on TB and only 700$ bet on SF. I'm guessing there was a lot of that going around.

EVERYONE bet Jax today, EVERYONE bet Washington today, and EVERYONE bet TB today. EVERONE is seemingly betting NE and PItt as well.

I still don't think that both them covering is enough to hurt what they made today. I bet most places made 6 figures PROFIT on teasers alone.

The only real game I saw that people hit heavy was Dallas. Denver took a lot early, but they also took some back on that game.

Obviously conjecture, but from the line moves I saw, and the way the spreads were moving around I think books buiried guys today.

With the NBA starting on tuesday, college basketball later this month, and college football - NFL will be an afterthought for me. Too little movement on NFL these days to gain much of an advantage.

Do me a favor and stop speaking about shit you have no idea about. Your know ZERO about bookin and most of you're opinions are as wrong as possible.

Please put a sock in it regarding bookmaking.

Every heard of a fucking teaser?

Cinci, Dallas, Carolina, New England all came in on teasers. My experience tells me the sportsbooks got crushed today in teasers.

Those mean nothing when TB was probably in 75% of the teasers yesterday. Especailly those infamous 10 pointers that people love so much.

I will admit the NE game probably bailed out some players that were live, but cosidering that most of them probably bet them Straight as well, it surely evened out.

Also, despite what you guys all want to think not everyone bets teasers. Lines do not move because of teasers. Those lines were not moving 1-3 points in almost every game because a few guys bet some teasers.

Take a quick poll or look through all the picks forums. I would say 80% of guys that posted plays yesterday lost money. And posters are supoosed to be "smarter".

6 sides got bet HEAVY this week. 1 of them won/covered (Dallas) 4 went down in flames, and one is left tonight in Pittsburgh.

If anyone tries to tell me that books didn't make a mint yesterday they might as well give up now, or they are simply trying to fool people.

Any debating NOW after NE and Pitt went down in flames as well?

Teasers be damned people got buried this week for the most part.

Ahh I missed that little gem.

Please enlighten us sage one. When lines move 2,3,4,5, points that means people are betting the side thatis getting a harder number to cover right?

So if a team opens up at a -7 say, and they close -10.5/11 that menas a lot of money was bet on them right? I mean I don't know anything about bookmaking, but I have to think it does. It did move 3.5 or 4 points after all. If it doesn't please tell me how it works.

All I know is there were pretty much only one side this week that made a big move, Dallas, that covered its OPENING number let alone the number they moved too.

Now as for teasers, if guys are betting alot of teasers will that make that line move too? So can we submit that a couple points of some of those moves can be accounted for by all the teasers people played with that certain team?

I am just trying to "learn" here.

So if you can explain to me how a few teams winning on the teasers can erase a cumulative 16 to 18 points in line moves please tell.

Most of the time the lines don't move a cumualtive 10 points one direction.

So I am wondering how lines moves that much, LOSE, and people still somehow make money?

Please enlighten me/us.

Want is dead on this one. Books just crushed the players this week. I have not seen the depth or frequency of this movement in years. Many NFL, not just one, moved an astounding 3 points or more. Both primetimes got heavy steam higher. It takes an awful lot of financial pressure to move those numbers like that in the NFL. They do not move on air. The books just dominated. Bailout games blew up, Pitt did not even cover tease. Chasers graveyard this week. But, I wonder why, this weekend, why the large stands and why the wrong way bets. It was not number manipulation as for the most part there was no takeback. It should have been 125% takeback. I would not want to be the cappers that have to explain to the money people how they could be so far off. That Redskin debacle set the tone. Steamed from +3 1/2 to pk, and poof 36-0. Maybe the Giants are better than the 49ers? It went downhill from there. I would safely say, a no shit assessment, this has to be one of the biggest bookmaking NFL weeks I have ever witnessed.

Best Wishes...OF :+waving-5
