California doesn't care about sports gambling. They want to go to a CA casino lose a little money, have a few drinks, dinner and go home.

A 4% house edge versus up to 28% with some Indian slots is of no concern as long as they lose their money slowly.

There will be sports betting eventually at their casinos and race tracks.

I don't believe it has to be on the ballot. A bill passed by CA Assembly will do it.

I'm on a neighborhood app. Someone wanted more info on the wagering measures with opinions.

Most men said 'no' because they were worried about games being fixed. It shows you what legalization is dealing with.

We're screwed.

No legal sports betting in CA in my lifetime or yours.

Yep. Mobile is in for a long haul as long as the Indians are in control. Brick and mortar wagering will
happen. Indians are discounted on licenses. From there they'll bring in consultants like Vaccaro, and
implement their own mobile platform.

They're not dumb, they see the numbers elsewhere, they just don't want outside interests coming in dividing
up the gaming dollar.

It's going to be interesting when sports wagering proposition comes again, possibly 2024. We'll see transparency when compared to the BS we just witnessed.
