Big wager on #11 Floris in the tenth race Thursday at Keeneland.

I suspect a $20,000 win bet in the final seconds of wagering.

#11 Floris was offered at odds of 8/1 as the horses entered the starting gate.

As soon as the gates opened, the odds refreshed and Floris dropped to odds of 7/1.

And then, after an alert beginning, the odds on Floris refreshed for a final time, and you guessed it, the odds dropped to 3/1.

Yowza!

The late money was spot-on.

#11 Flora romped to a convincing three-and-a-half length victory.

Veteran jockey Jon Court (age 60) was all smiles in the winner's circle.

A very uninspiring set of cards for tomorrow. I guess with the BC so soon on the horizon, tracks keeping the stakes action very under the radar.
