Comedian Tom Smothers, who with his brother performed as the singing comedy duo the Smothers Brothers, has died, according to a family statement shared by the National Comedy Center. He was 86.
Dick Smothers, Tom’s brother and co-star of their “Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour,” said his brother was at home at the time of his death related to cancer.

MLB, Frank Thomas RIP reported by Fox News. Fox, showing a in memoriam segment showed Thomas hitting a home run and in the corner of the screen it said 1968-2023. Wrong Frank Thomas who played for the Pirates who did die in 2023. Fox has made an apology.

Chicago acting Legend Mike Nussbaum died 12/23/23 six days before his 100th birthday. Mike was still performing a few weeks before his death. He was a true legend in the Chicago Theater scene since the 1960's.

A couple of movies he was in were the David Mamet directed "House of Games" and "Things Change". And many more.

Chicago born comedian Shecky Greene passes away at the age of 97. i know he has lived in Vegas for a long time.

Shecky Greene the horse ..obviuously named after him...ran in the 1973 Kentucky Derby against Secretariat.....sort of a controversial decision about entering him.....trainer Goldfine did not want to.....added note Goldfine was a good trainer to claim from
