2021 Baseball Picks, Fades, Info, Group Discussion

You could be right. It's just funny how so many of them from the LA area. Maybe just coincidental.
MLB players in general see a large proportion from the area, although I hear its dwindling. Growing up there everyone plays t-ball and then little league, pretty much a right of passage. I didn't even like baseball, I quit in little league and switched to soccer, but all my friends stayed with it and about a third of them made it all the way to HS varsity which is just so competitive. Where else do you go and see a section roped off for scouts at just about every league game?

I know the Rockies bullpen hasn't had much usage lately but it is the Rockies bullpen. I'm taking SD +220

Live Bottom of the 5th.

They blew it for you, but then the Padres bullpen gave it back. Pitching to the one good hitter on the Rockies is just beyond comprehension, the three guys after him would have struck out.

Home records:

team A is 23-14
team B is 25-18
team C is 20-18
team D is 19-14

3 of the 4 are in first place, or at least tied. Can you name the teams?

Anyone who's not riding Colorado when they are at Coors is missing out. Looking at the under F5 there today. Marquez knows how to pitch there, no question. Woodruff has only made two starts there, He throws about 26% curves and sliders so that shouldn't be as big of a problem as it is for many. Woodruff really turned things around after starting to throw a sinker in 2019. Not sure if he's a guy who just developed into his potential, or is taking liberties to get better, but he definitely has improved considerably since the end of 2018.

I hear what you're saying but dry, hot,12MPH wind blowing straight out to center and MLB cracking down on the grippy shit hard to touch an under at Coors right now.

I may be playing with fire here but I'm going first 5, not full game, so I (hopefully) don't have to worry about the Rockies bullpen. Milwaukee played last night and now travels 1000 miles or so to Denver. The Brewers scored 4 total runs in their last 3 games. I noticed Blackmon wasn't in starting lineup yesterday.

Feels like the home edge is priced in for Rockies with line in the 140s. The Padres prices were out of line, this one is not.

Yeah they gave Blackmon a rest after his hitting streak ended.

"The Diamondbacks (20-50) suffered a 10-3 loss to the Giants, marking their 23rd straight loss on the road. That's the longest such losing streak in MLB history, a record previously held by the 1943 Athletics and the 1963 Mets. The defeat is also Arizona's 14th straight in all contests, a franchise record.

The D-Backs, who are 9–31 on the road, haven't won away from home since April 25, when Madison Bumgarner threw an unofficial no-hitter against the Braves. Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic notes that the losing streak began on May 4 against the Marlins, when the Arizona gave up six runs in the eighth inning.

Arizona won't get another shot at snapping its streak until next Friday in San Diego. For now, they return home for a six-game homestand against the Dodgers and the Brewers.

I know these are bad teams but dumb luck should win you a game on the road here and there. These two teams and the Rockies are just beyond comprehension how they can't win almost ever on the road.

These road losing streaks for Arizona and Baltimore are crazy. The last time both teams won, they had a pitcher who threw a no-hitter (OK, Bumgarner's wasn't recognized as a no hitter but the opponent didn't get a hit).

Forgot about Wynn, still can't believe they are app only like Score. Makes no sense to me how these books can't offer a browser version of their books. So time consuming to get a bet down on apps compared to browser.

the score has a 400 max over night...also resorts casino sportsbook in NJ moved to a 20 cent MLB line after 3 years

MGM just dropped the hammer on me, props and some games/totals are limited to single digit bets. WTF? Better off just telling me what you'll let me bet some money on and hiding everything you're afraid of. Pretty worthless book to me without props, their 20-40 cent MLB lines are a joke.

i agree for MLB. I thought i saw sometimes 25 cent lines LOL. I have them pushed all the way right when i bring up the books on the computer..which means in MLB i won't play there.

"The D-backs lost 13 in a row, then won 2 of 3 and must have partied hard. 14 straight losses since. 2-28 in their last 30"

the sticky checks are timed with weather change. the inspections are getting the credit for the 0.1 run increase the last 3 weeks instead of the weather changing. what a scam.

Be interesting to hear book managers comment about how bad the DBacks 5-40 run up until last night hurt them. Have to guess a lot of squares lined up to take the other side every day and parlayed that with going against the O's and the Rockies when on the road.

In any case, I highly doubt there is much money to be made riding against these teams any more. A 5-40 run is as bad as I can ever remember. If you blind backed them from this point on I think you'll be ahead 30-40 games from now.

Nope. I'm not funded there right now but def up. They are a pain to tally you have go month by month to tally, they don't give you a win/loss number. If I'm not mistaken.

have you tried the wynn sports book? in the software you have to put in the risk and win manually LOL ... it is so silly anything to slow the bettor.

Most of the software is garbage. Circa has the best software here IMO, but I know they aren't in NJ yet. PointsBet is decent too, good for them for not using some European provider's software that doesn't work well in the US.
