Miami/San Diego OVER 44.5

Miami is playing without starting CB Vontae Davis and starting LB Koa Misi (the latter is not much of a loss). San Diego's opposing team's QB's have a quarterback rating of 108.5 through the first three weeks of the season. Miami knows it can't go 0-4 entering the bye so while +7 is tempting I don't like it when +9 was there for the taking earlier in the week. I expect Miami to score more than we've seen from them today. Rookie RB Daniel Thomas, who is averaging over 100 yards per game is out for Miami. With only Reggie Bush and newly acquired Steve Slaton on the roster, I expect many throws from Mr. Henne.

San Diego should be able to throw on Miami at will. No one on Miami can cover Vincent Jackson and Miami is horrible at covering the TE.

Miami is playing without starting CB Vontae Davis and starting LB Koa Misi (the latter is not much of a loss). San Diego's opposing team's QB's have a quarterback rating of 108.5 through the first three weeks of the season. Agreed.

Doubtful that Miami can win this game, and heading into a bye-week, Sporano is canned unless they pull off the miracle. We'll see them leave everything out there today...

Giants -1.5 Arizona. This is a match-up the Giants rarely lose. Eli will move the ball and minimize mistakes. Giants will get to the QB and should win by 10.

I'm not one of these guys who comes back and tries to defend a play after it loses, but anyone who saw the Dolphins game know OVER bettors got a bit unlucky. Yes, there are injuries in football, but to think that Chad Henne gets knocked out of the game in the first quarter and Vincent Jackson (who was dominating Sean Smith) missed the entire second half is not something you can handicap. Somehow me thinks that those two injuries were worth at least one lousy field goal, which was all we needed. 2348ji23e
