Re: DID YOU EVER GET CAUGHT?
A-CHEATING ON AN EXAM
B-CHEATING ON A SPOUSE/SIGNIFICANT OTHER
C-CHEATING ON YOUR INCOME TAXES
D-ALL OF THE ABOVE
Greetings:
The Munchkin Man has a confession to make.
The Munchkin Man was not always the model citizen the Munchkin Man is today.
The Munchkin Man was once guilty of Choice C.
One year, back in the mid-1970s, the Munchkin Man got caught cheating on his income taxes.
While the Munchkin Man was preparing his tax returns that year, the Munchkin Man could not make up his mind whether to take the standard deduction or to itemize his deductions.
After a great deal of internal debate, the Munchkin Man finally reached a decision.
The Munchkin Man would take both.
The Munchkin Man completed his tax returns accordingly, by taking the standard deduction, and then itemizing his deductions, and then adding them all together, for the Munchkin Man's total deductions.
The Munchkin Man had a theory that the IRS wouldn't notice.
The Munchkin Man looked at it as an experiment.
The Munchkin Man was wrong.
The Munchkin Man's experiment failed.
They did notice.
The Munchkin Man had to pay a $100 fine.
