So when can we expect BetUS to get the axe as well? Mofo, maybe you should do the right thing here as well...

Interesting point. J Man got axe for not paying a debt, maybe some internet gambling companies can get the axe if they refuse to pay customers.

Seems like a very useful one around here lately.

What books are sponsors here is not my department it would be ken's.

Last I checked this was his business and he has the final decision on things.

I got drunk the other night. Woke up, went to Therx. Saw TTinco, Railbird, TTP posting. Then I saw someone get banned for a debt owed.

I sobered up and realized I was on EOG.

I just think if you are going to make a decision to protect us from having questionable characters as employees of this site then you should also protect the deposits of the posters by not hanging banners of questionable sites. It is easy to find those stiffed by BetUS. Just google it

Thanks Blondie. It seems firing Jman was Mo's decision. Maybe Mo can see to it that he gets the bad advertisers away from the rest of us

It is also very easy to state your opinions of the book. I could see if we censored the comments about the book, but we do not.

Our search feature is not that difficult to use.

I don't think we see the same irony

The irony in the way that all this was done for the people, yet a stiff shop banner flies above

We also believe the people have some intelligence as a group and will make their own decisions regardless of what flies above or not.

He never left. That whole thing with WLY was him pretending to be his dad. I have posted here for years and have no clue how to post a photo in a thread. His dad, who WVU claimed barely knew how to use a computer figured it out his first day, I THINK NOT.

Re: I am glad to hear this site is getting tougher on stiffs

Why do you care, at all, unless you are one of the ones who was allegedly "stiffed"?. . .On the other hand, we can really make a statement; so while we're at it, let's root out all the posters holding overdue library books, and then start in on the members here who go through the grocery store express lane with more than fifteen items. . .

You're intelligent, educated, and were born to argue, easy to see why you are a lawyer. Your rationale above however is hyperbole and a completely fallacious analogy. Grandstanding by counsel.

Jman was an EMPLOYEE of a gambling site. Having a stiff represent a business based on trust is idiotic. Same kind of thing when a lawyer gets kicked out by the bar for fraud, etc. Had he been just a poster and not paid employee he would not be banned at his point in all likeyhood, akin to 5star.

Have a nice day.

Would you take on a lawyer in your Firm who was disbarred in another state?

Rather than "hyperbole" and "completely fallacious," it was more accurately a strain of reductio ad absurdum. Which is really how I consider all the "who said who stiffed who" on the forum. But, on the positive side, I was able to timewaste about ten more minutes jacking around with it. . .12io4j2w90

That's your stance; to me, as a person who will never be stiffed by a poster on an anonymous gambling forum, each "offense" carries about the same level of condemnation.

You are making the all-to-common error of confusing the name-calling and hair-pulling on EOG with real life. If we are to attempt analogies, let's say the "offenses of the stiffs" (tm) would be more like getting overcharged at a bar in the online game of "Second Life.":cheers

4625,

With all due respect, sir, the "stiffing part" IS REAL LIFE. Jman lost REAL money, making REAL bets, to a REAL person.

If he lost monopoly money betting with people on the site, I would totally agree with your "over charged at a bar in Second Life", I'll admit I chuckled at that, but once again, horrible analogy. Real money real life vs fake money fake life. Logic says- FAIL

I like betus. They have always treated me well. Always paid in a reasonable time frame. Until they do me wrong, they are a must out. One of the managers was very helpful getting something taken care of just last week. Have heard all of the shady rumors etc. but maybe it is possible that if you take care of them (report bad lines and not shot take them) etc, they will take care of you.

I feel the same way. They paid me like 3 or 4 times last year. I have a friend getting a check. They told him Thursday it would take 2 weeks. They wanted ID and Credit Card scans and faxes. I admit you have to call back to confirm they got those faxes. This is sportsbook play - not sure if issues have to do with casino play??? So, I guess, I can report back on my friend's check when he gets it.

What do you here about Bodog? Do, they pay in a reasonable amount of time unlike this summer? Anybody had a payout with them lately?

But, as far as integrity of the website. What about a petition to remove or "eviction" of a book with slow payment issues? 10 guys document their slow pay, etc.! Invent a Red Flag forum or sticky thread so everybody knows about it. It's not the forum's fault that Sportsbook's slow pay but it is this website's responsibility to not "enable" the slow pay book into ripping off more players. Regretfully, you might end up with 5 advertisers like MW.

As far as how to document slow pays? We need better than hearsay evidence to "evict"! I know it sounds like more work and a pain in the butt for the Mod's. But, I guess, if 10 players PM the Mod's with their account #'s and slow pay details and the Mod's get blown off by the book when they call about it that would be enough for the "death penalty" ??????

why not just have a review forum? We can all rate the books on our own experiences. That's how we did it when casinos were popping up right and left
