Very true. Having a good paying career is great, and I'm very very thankful for it. I don't actually mind work either, and I enjoy getting out of the house. Just not too much of a fan of it being 14 degrees during my morning commute, especially on a Saturday morning. If it was 70 degrees or so, not a complaint from me would be heard.

gf's 8yr old is having a slumber party over here tonight. little turds running around everywhere. i went to the dog track for about an hour and was too nervous about shit getting broken so i came home. i locked myself in my office while the gf tries to keep some resemblance of order. 10 8yr.old girls playing dance dance revolution on 2 tvs, painting shit and cooking cupcakes and stuff all night... i would trade places with ANYONE right now

no place i'd rather be than here.gal and kids are in bed and i'm just sitting here bored and wouldn't trade it for anything.ten years ago i would've been doing dangerous things or stupid shit and luckily i learned the error of my ways.years ago i would've considered myself a loser sitting on here on a friday but nowadays i'n thankful i'm here period.i've had my wild times and these days sitting here relaxing doing nothing is just great.too much trouble in the outdoors so i stick around the house and avoid going out unless its something that needs to be done or taking my kids to do things.
