I wouldn't want to see anyone congratulate John on what is obviously a private matter. It's one thing for John to bring this up, but internet posters shouldn't.

I think this is a typo Jeff.

It is sponsored by a Vegas sportsbook. They want people to visit them when they are open dont they?

It's pasted straight from the Leroy's website.

It's a radio show. It's meant to generate general interest in Leroy's, not immediate on-air walk-in traffic. For all I know, it could be being broadcast from a radio station miles away from a casino. .

The new Leroy's Sports Hour is on from 10pm to 11pm pacific time every night.

The bottom line is Leroy's could NOT afford the $500 per hour FOX Radio here in Las Vegas wanted for their air time to do the show during the day time so they decided to go with the $100 per hour air time on KLAV and do the show at night.

The once powerful John Kelly who use to do the Stardust Line radio show Monday through Friday on a 50000 watt station during morning drive here in Las Vegas is now on a 1000 watt radio station(with no listeners) doing a show at 10pm at night when NOBODY listens to the radio.

This must be a HUGE blow to his ego.

You better believe its meant to bring in walk in traffic. That's the whole idea of their show. Listen and go to Leroy's and place a bet. Its a vehicle to get you in the mood to place a bet at Leroys right now. How can you do this between 10PM-11PM every day? Makes no sense at night. When you wake up in the morning you may have lost your urge to place a bet. It defeats the purpose of doing the show.

No way I believe it's at 10PM.

It's gotta be at 10AM. It has to be a typo on their website.

Good interview with JK, unfortunately the "call-out"s mostly asked questions that had already been covered since the callers couldn't hear the interview before they were called. I really hate this new format of the sports conference call. I would suggest that the "call-out"s have to e-mail before the show specific questions to ask so that repetition can be avoided.

I gotta couple of mentions late in the show. Very positive comments.

But "he used to write for some of the forums?" What is that?

Would it kill you to mention EOG?

Left to hit the trails for Monday lunch, I enter the world of car radio.. Where did these people come from on Las Vegas Fox Sports radio 920 or 930 or whatever it is today? I haven't listened for awhile. I thought the host was some guy who used to perform magic tricks at O'Sheas. Is he gone? Two guys and the goofy girl. Darn, who conceived such imaginative radio format?

I can't wait for the talent/content who fills the 2 0'clock hour.

I'll report; you decide. We have a little over 30 minutes to go.

Did I say "used to." That was a slip. I have no problem mentioning EOG.

To Computer Bob's point, The "call outs" clearly were a disaster. It was the first time I had tried it and it obviously needs work. I have a couple ideas on how to improve them, so stay tuned.

I heard the show using your archive less than an hour ago.
AND, I still think you are on to something. I am spreading all positive vibes to you.
You are filling a niche and I congratulate you.
Keep it up.
I will continue to support a positive gambling product that is informative. There are not enough choices out there.

A few years ago American Wagering / Leroy?s Sport Books were suppose to be working with the Nevada gaming commission on setting-up an online (Intranet) sports wagering service in Nevada?haven?t heard anything since?what?s the status, has this occurred? :+clueless
