FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Losing a Wallet!

Another Day, Another Dollar
I spent an hour of my life earlier sweating the possibility of losing my wallet today when I could not find it. That was not fun and then when I start writing down what is in it, I realize the pain in the arse it would be, but The Cook had it in her car. I had put it in the glove box yesterday and forgot about it.

Have any of you experienced losing your wallets or purse? I feel for you if so as I was nervous/worrying just thinking about it.

Have a dandy day ladies and Men.

Be safe

Re: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Losing a Wallet!

I've gotten nervous a few times when I think I've lost it. My wallet is like George Castanza's - whole life is in it.

:LMAO

I hear ya Reload. Good thing I don't have any girlfriends in there since The Cook has it at work. :smokesmal

Honestly though, I doubt she would look inside.

I was goofing and told her I was asking for a surgery to have a pocket with a zipper inserted into my skin so I would feel better about the safety of the wallet. :doh1

Re: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Losing a Wallet!

No, I never did opt for a biker wallet.

I would consider a money clip,though.

You only really need your DL, a credit card, and some cash, then leave your wallet in your car.

I just haven't made the switch.

A lot of what's your wallet is stuff like cards from 6 different supermarkets, that you don't need, cashier has a card they can swipe for you.

Re: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Losing a Wallet!

Drivers License, personal bank Debit card, Health and Auto Insurance cards, 2 credit cards, weapons permit, several pictures, a Lutheran cross I received in the military, business cards, phone number list, emergency medical card, cash, bank wire information, some important receipts, a medicine prescription, passport info. These come to mind when I think about contents.

I still think much of that can be left in your car, and just carry a mini-version of the wallet on you, or go the chain wallet route, if you are worried about losing it.

yep it is not fun.... was on a trip to Oregon and at a gas station I left it on the counter while paying... went back 2 mins later it was gone... the clerk took it for sure... I asked to reply the security camera and amazingly those minutes where not on the camera that fucken scum bag...police could do nothing about it .... the money was not a problem it was the SS card and CC cards.. but so far its been 2 years since that and nobody has messed with my credit or identity.. im thankful for that

Re: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Losing a Wallet!

lost mine about 6 years ago and the $ 840.00 lost in wallet was nothing compared to everything else in wallet; credit card, bank card, contacts, phone numbers, social security card, driver license, insurance cards, casino player cards, etc.

I now have a separate list I keep at home of everything in wallet with contact phone numbers. hope to never lose it again as it is painful. have misplaced it seceral times since in house or left in car and also went crazy looking for it.

Re: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Losing a Wallet!

Went to the store 2 weeks ago for quick groceries. Paid and went back to my truck. Heading to an estimate I noticed I did not have it as I wear sport pants allot. Go right back to the store(last known origin) and customer service says its not there. Check the parking lot, my truck 20 times to no avail. $360 in it with 3 cards and all the other goodies. Leave my name with the store in case its returned and say please call. Cancel cards and go on about my business. Call the next day and they say no its not there. Go to the store and talk to the manager and she says let me check the safe. Came out with my figgin wallet.

Asked for a name and no one left one. Would of gave them a Benjamin.

Whew
