Do I hedge my parlay?

Using the incredible picks from the baseball forum (combining WoW's and Buffet's picks), I have the following parlay going:

San Diego +106 (winner)
Arizona -106 (almost over - tied 3-3)
SF -112 (winning 9-1)
Cincinnati +120 (winner)
Golden State (money line) +160 (too close to call)

$100 to win $4235

This was just a throw away bet. I was up over the weekend and figured I'd drop in a $100 prayer. It looks like I have all the sides except for the GS ML play. I threw that one in on my own. Now I wish I hadn't. It will be close...

So I am thinking of hedging somehow with the halftime line of GS/Utah.

Any ideas on how to do that? I don't think BJM has ML bets for the second half. That leaves me betting the second half line, which looks like maybe Utah -6.5?? or so (just a guess). If I bet Utah, I stand to lose both right?

Should I just hold onto the GS ML bet? Since I started writing this, Philly came back to tie in the 8th. Its a moot point if I am sweating two games.

Thinking for a sec

Your hedge would now have to be Utah 2nd half -4 right?

Re: Do I hedge my parlay?

If AZ can score bottom of the 8th, I might take the hedge with Utah-4. It would be a bitch if Utah won by 1 though. I lose the parlay and push the hedge.

Doesn't sound worth it. I think I'm just riding on GS all the way.

Re: Do I hedge my parlay?

It's a shame GS could not have been up by just a few more points, things could have been so much easier for you by hedging 2nd half Utah.....

Re: Do I hedge my parlay?

what if AZ loses?

I wouldn't even think about it unless AZ was up going into the 9th. I have a few minutes for that to happen, but it doesn't look good.

Oh well.

BTW, thanks to the guys mentioned above for their baseball picks. I lurk quite a bit, but the baseball forum is on fire.

Re: Do I hedge my parlay?

Hmmm. Arizona looking good right now. They just took the lead.

3 outs away. 8-9-1 hitters coming up for Philly.

Re: Do I hedge my parlay?

if AZ had it locked up, I would put at least a couple hundy on Utah to come out plus money on the play.

Re: Do I hedge my parlay?

GS & Utah neck & neck the whole 1st half

Both shooting about same from field, same from free throw line/attempts, and same foul situations.

Only thing that has Warriors up at half is a couple more 3pointers.....

What is UTah ML 2nd half?

Re: Do I hedge my parlay?

Wow that sucks Acesfull

Only way to get over this is to pretend it was dead after the 1st game

Try & put that in your head no matter how hard it is......

Re: Do I hedge my parlay?

Well, at least it guarantees that AZ and Golden State will come in.

It could only be worse if I had actually hedged $2K on Utah and lost. I'd have been out of my mind then. I coudl have sworn ESPN scrolled CIN as a winner. Damn.
