I'm not exactly sure what quote of yours in this thread was worse, but this 1 pretty much takes the cake...Yes the IRS has nothing better to do then watch over the forum hoping results are posted about a poker tourney...Plus i'm sure they know who each person is by thier screen name as well...

The party was a BLAST and the location and scenery we had (outdoors) was INCREDIBLE. We partied in the Lagoon bar and grill. Awesome.

The poker tourney was cancelled PO, Atlantis Casino did not allow it from what i hear...not sure if it had to do with the MJ tourney, or a casino rule, or whatever, but they just had a meet and greet instead...

Ok, then that explains why we didnt get results. No problem here now. I was always wondering how you were going to dealers to deal in a casino that doesnt offer poker. Also, I noticed how there was no mention about the tournament over the past 2 weeks, that had me wondering as well

Well the main reason that they wouldnt have poker is because it is not a big moneymaker for the house in terms of table space per dollar. Slot machines make MUCH more money than poker in most casinos
Also, if you are playing poker, then you are not spending money elsewhere on the Island. People will play poker hours on end, thus not spending as much money on their trip

Same thing pretty much throughout the Caribbean. Local support is needed to keep poker tables running and apparently the Caribbean local crowd doesn't play poker enough. You can put up a slot machine or BJ table and lack of action round the clock isn't an issue, poker is much different.
