WHY WOULD ANYBODY WANT TO BE WIDE OPEN TO THE WHOLE WORLD ABOUT TRYING ALL THESE NEW SYSTEMS? DO YOU KNOW FOR A FACT EVERYBODY THAT READS THESE FORUMS ARE ALL OK? IF YOU DO YOU MUST BE GOD, I THINK IT SHOULD BE ALOT MORE PRIVATE ABOUT THESE NEW SYSTEMS, I THINK YOU SHOULD KEEP IT TO YOURSELVES, MAYBE I?M MISSING THE WHOLE POINT HERE, IF I AM I WISH SOMEONE WOULD COME IN AND ENLIGHTEN ME, DONT LET THESE GUYS LOOK STRAIGHT DOWN OUR THROATS...

Rainbow, i think what everyone is saying, is these places are NO SECRET...

All u have to do is go to any sportsbook and see on the main page, what they take, and what they dont.....If u dont think the feds have done that already, then you are mistaken...

The main issue is, will these systems back down to the US? Not, will the U.S. find out about them

Alot of these places are based outside the U.S., and do not HAVE TO cave in, if they want to fight.....the question is, who will, and who won't, and that is the waiting game we are playing right now......

But trust me, if you know about it, or I know about it, or another poster knows about it, the GOV'T surely knows about it.....

Best of luck this weekend...

YOU MAY BE RIGHT HERE, BUT SOMETHING KEEPS TELLING ME THAT THEY DONT KNOW EVERYTIME WHEN SOMEONE MAKES A WITHDRAW, MAYBE THEY DO KNOW, BUT I CAN?T BUY IT, IF THEY DONT KNOW WHY TALK ABOUT HOW YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE A WITHDRAW? REAL STUPID LETTING THESE PEOPLE KNOW EVERY MOVE YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE, I JUST RECEIVED MY MONEY WITH A CHECK FROM X BOOK, I THINK THIS IS 100% WRONG TO DO ON THE FORUMS, ITS NOT A WHOLE LOT OF BLOCKS I HAVEN?T BEEN DOWN IN THIS BUSINES, AND I CAN SUGGEST ITS NOT A REAL GOOD IDEA TO TALK ABOUT HOW YOU ARE GOING TO TRY AND WITHDRAW YOUR MONEY FROM ANY BOOK...

Re: I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD TRY NOT TO BE WIDE OPEN ABOUT ALL THESE DIFFERENT SYSTEMS.

I would ask this differently---there should not be any talk here about specifics on funding methods--either in or out.

The public needs to understand---with what DOJ is doing to the 2 former Neteller guys--EVERYONE ELSE IN THE PROCESSCING BUSINESS TOOK A WALK---THEY DON'T WANT TO BE NEXT.
We have, literally, lost 90% of out transfer capabilities, in both directions.

And all I see on these forums is specific talk about what company provides what financial service to what sportsbook, and what their status is this hour.
That is enough to get most of them to close shop on their own---even if it does not make them an immediate target for law enforcement.

And, of course, people complaining about the speed and cost of payouts this week----as if every sportsbook is not scrambling, trying as hard as they can, and paying through the nose to be able to send money today.

We all want to be here when the next generation of processcing options arrives and attention is elsewhere--You can help us by being discreet and the mods can help us by deleting these references.

I agree with Bucsfan here. That says it all.

All they need is the King Pin and the whole industry is no secret anymore.

I highly doubt what happen to Neteller was caused by people posting on forums.

All they have to do is search Google for anything they want and try it all out like everyone else. This would be the very simple way.

Re: I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD TRY NOT TO BE WIDE OPEN ABOUT ALL THESE DIFFERENT SYSTEMS.

we do not need 20 threads on every different forum talking about how "this book sends Fedex checks from this company" and "this book has you send MoneyGram like this" and "this book is using this ewallet which is still up"

I KNOW SPECIFICALLY OF SEVERAL CASES IN THE PAST 2 DAYS WHERE PROCESSCORS CLOSED DOWN AFTER SEEING THE NETELLER PAIR, AND THEN SEEING THEIR BUSINESS DISCUSSED IN THESE FORUMS.

they do not want to be next----

Please, do us all, and yourselves a favor. This stuff is going to eliminate the few options we have left...and scare off newcomers.

I could not pay out all of the paper checks we have today (which include all of the echeck and Neteller payouts converted to paper checks. If I offerred the vendors $100 a piece to process, they would not get out that kind of volume today....it will get done, but not if the few remaining vendors out there get scared off.

Re: I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD TRY NOT TO BE WIDE OPEN ABOUT ALL THESE DIFFERENT SYSTEMS.

I disagree with rainbow, JC, and Joe Bookie. I think the most important issue that should be discussed on this forum is what methods are still available and will be available in the future for depositing to and withdrawing funds from sportsbooks.

It behooves the offshore internet gambling industry to establish a payment processing system that is not subject to US law and will not voluntarily submit to US law. If this does not happen, then the industry(and gambling forums like this) is dead. Likewise, if the offshore internet gambling industry does implement a viable payment processing system that enables US punters to easily deposit and withdraw funds to offshore sportsbooks, but no one knows about this system, then the industry is still dead.

The feds are going to read these forums; the feds are going to join offshore sportsbooks, like the cooperating witness(CW) in the Neteller complaint. That is a given, there is nothing we can do to prevent that from happening. Not talking about what payment processing options are still or will be available should not give us a false sense of security. We can not possibly keep these payment processing systems secret from the feds, nor should we even try to or want to.

The objective should be to establish and implement a payment processing system that is a) well known and easy to use by the general public; b) safe and secure from any prosecution by the US govt and c) effective and prosperous enough for its owners/operators to choose to continue to offer the service in light of the threats posed by the US govt.

I understand the mentality..But we are not talking about the kid who sells joints during lunchtime...

Bucsfan..One of your best post since I have been here..Considering the huge effect on the industry involving the subject @ hand..$!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to and fro:cool:

Re: I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD TRY NOT TO BE WIDE OPEN ABOUT ALL THESE DIFFERENT SYSTEMS.

The important issue is coming up with a transfer method that is absolutely fool proof..Whether these Commie bastards know about it or not:cool:

Re: I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD TRY NOT TO BE WIDE OPEN ABOUT ALL THESE DIFFERENT SYSTEMS.

Rainbow..Most of us know that you being involved in the industry you supercede most of us in offshore SB operation knowledge..

My point- Someone must come up withe a foolproff withdrawal and deposit method that the Feds know about..But cant touch..

Any secret under the radar $ transfer methods will crap out one day to another...

I get your point about being low key about it..but it will never happen..I can think of several billion reasons why...

In the end- AMERICANS WANT TO GAMBLE...THE GOV KNOWS IT..ALL THEY REALLY WANT IS A PIECE OF THE PIE..IMO

PS..YOU GUYS CAN BET YOUR ASSES THE VEGAS CASINOS HAVE THEIR HAND IN THIS BS TOO-Jojo

When feds start asking questions, they already know what the likely answers should and/or will be.

Re: I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD TRY NOT TO BE WIDE OPEN ABOUT ALL THESE DIFFERENT SYSTEMS.

Regardless of who posts what, all a Fed has to do is go to any sportsbook webpage and look up Deposit/Withdrawal information. Or, just call and ask.

Without the free sharing of information how are gamblers being served?

If someone has money with which they want to gamble, the ability to deposit (and the corresponding ability to withdraw) should be a major criteria in picking a book.

On the flip side, there is no silver bullet here.

There is no "fool-proof" method for getting money to/getting money from a sportsbook. The US has taken the stance that any financial institution that is involved in such transactions is liable for criminal prosecution.

Until/unless the US is challenged in a court and loses, that is the way it shall remain.

I understand where the insiders are coming from - ie. Everyone shut the hell up while we think of something to do.

Unfortunately, people are people. They want information and if mods started editing/deleting things here they would just find another place to exchange it.

Good Luck,
Joe
