Poker Players Alliance

The idea that sports betting is somehow more corrupt than poker is laughable. There are scanadals at poker tournaments all the time, most recently involving a bunch of extra chips that mysteriously appeared in the WSOP main event.

The Poker Players Alliance can go fuck themselves as far as I'm concerned.

The biggest scams in the Live Poker rooms are at Tournaments with guaranteed returns.

Tournaments with a guarantee of $2,000-$5000 are the biggest scams.

They steal the money when the pool goes over the guaranteed limit.

It's funny how the math works out exactly at the guarantee.

The players don't challenge the Poker Room and are blind to the corruption.

WHAT POKER ROOMS DO YOU PLAY AT???? THOSE GURANTEES MEAN THE ROOM PUTS UP THE REST IF THAT STATED GURANTEE TOTAL IS NOT MET..... IT IS NOT ADDED MONEY AS KENS WEDNESDAY NIGHT TOURNAMENT IS.....

IF THE PLACE SAYS 5,000 GURANTEED @ $100 A HEAD.......AND 65 PLAYERS PLAY, THERE SHOULD BE $6,500 IN THE POT...... IF 40 PLAY THERE SHOULD BE 5,000 IN THE POT........4,000 FROM PLAYERS AND THE HOUSE ADDING 1,000......

For Tournaments, I trust online games much more than the live rooms.

Human hands make contact with the money and human hands assign seat cards.

The rebuy tourneys are also corrupt as money changes hands with a floor person for chips. There is no data entry for this. The money just gets pooled with the prize money.

What does the Poker room care what's going out as long as their tournament fee is accounted for.

This is a license to steal for the corrupt tournament director and floorperson.

I applaud your efforts and we will do whatever we can to assist...

Hopefully, my State of Virginia will contribute a tad by voting George Allen (who has a track record of voting with Bush 96% of the time) OUT OF OFFICE here!

This guy is REALLY BAD NEWS for our cause and of course, he opposes online gambling...

In my opinion, a group who's continually criticizing non-poker forms of advantage gambling isn't offering any "help." I have no problem with the fact that they choose to focus on poker rather than all gambling, but the fact that they would issue press releases calling sports betting corrupt, stinks of the same spin-doctoring that the opponents of online gambling perform themselves.
