yes we do have a big budget.. The nato countries give the USA money with a percentage of 1-2% of their GDP. If they cannot pay the US makes a deal another way like using their land / air space. They station people in their country etc. which saves the US money down the road. Example the non nato countries Philippines and taiwan.... this has been going on with the countries since 1945
