I've seen Maddon since the Halo 2002 WS win as the bench coach. Really not impressed.

I listen to his post-game conferences and he says nothing.

I shudder to bet the Halos over 5 the way he handles the bullpen.

Cubs that year were clearly the best. TB was ahead of the curve re metrics.

Maddon maybe not a hack. But his WAR number doesn't move the meter IMO

The Cubs won in spite of Maddon ...not because of him. They were loaded and a very good team. He did everything possible to blow that series.
