interesting email from BETROYAL

Hi,This is Chester, back again at the helm of BetRoyal. Most of you may remember that I was the original founder - the one who took BetRoyal to most favored status. I left BetRoyal in 2001 for personal reasons and since that time Royal ownership changed hands twice. The present ownership is a well established and well funded group who pioneered the online casino industry as it emerged in the 90s. They acquired BetRoyal to broaden their suite of gaming products.Recently, the current ownership, after experiencing less than satisfactory results, reached out to me and asked that I return to reinstitute the standards which brought BetRoyal to the top and I have accepted the challenge. If you have played at BetRoyal in the past few years you may have experienced some inconsistencies in performance, but I am here to assure you that the old Royal Spirit ? that the customer comes first, reliable payouts and overall professional service has once again been implemented and I invite you once again to experience this for yourself.I have chosen about 50 customers who I personally remember from my early years at Royal which I am reaching out to in efforts to re-establish our relationship.Best RegardsChester If you do not wish to hear from us again please visit this link and you will be taken off from future promotions.

I got the same email.

Only problem is I did not play at Royal years ago, but I made the cut.

I played there incredibly briefly maybe a year ago.

I finally got the same email....I must be in the lower half of the top 50...LOL.

On the other hand, BetRoyal has survived about 3 years of the most vicious, negative campaign ever launched in forumland so I don't think they are likely to bust. I believe Chester is smart enough to stay out of the USA for instance. I would not hesitate to use BetRoyal if the circumstances (bonus, vig, rollover, etc.) were right. My biggest complaint against them is that they cold called me either last year or the year before....that is the ultimate sin with me.

Thanks IDENTITY. They are runninng a ponzi scheme over there. The time will come when the doors will be closed. The last time I talked to BetRoyal, the word they were spreading was that Spiro was in financial trouble and they would not do transfers with Olympic. How in the fuck can a website promote these parasites?

Re: interesting email from BETROYAL

This requires a response.

I went through several dozen accounts that I remembered were good accounts back in the early days. The list came to 53. I wrote and sent that e-mail. I received 27 back as "bad e-mail addresses." I got zero replies from the ones that went through and am not surprised. A week and a half later, someone in the casino division asked me if I would mind that they sent the e-mail to some selected customers from that side. At first I said no, then said yes. I failed to re-read it which was my mistake. If I had, I would have removed the "50 e-mail" business.

We are under tremendous pressure to turn BetRoyal around. And this comes from the compatition as well as from above. At the same time, my process for doing this requires a complete change in strategy, policies, proceedures, etc. and this will take time to fully implement. In the meantime, some old, bad habits of which I do not support much less have enacted have still emerge from Royal. What has not happened is that not one single player since my arrival, July 1, has been intentionally slow paid. In addition, several other measures have been enacted which will show, in time, that Royal can again attain its former standards.

I got an e-mail from BetJamaica today. It had a list of 36 reasons why someone should play there. they are all valid and (since I know Scotty since I saw his diapers changed) I know also to be the truth. This is now my bar (and beyond). We will not stop with every effort possible to attain this bar. This includes an honest apology for a screw up (no matter how innocent) such as what ended up happening with this e-mail.

But also rest assured that this company is NOT (at this time and as long as I am involved) in any way a scam. And I will remain until the reputation of this company, once again and fully is returned to the status we acheived in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Re: interesting email from BETROYAL

Chester,

First of all I wish you the best with Betroyal and hope you make it into a top notch book. I showed faith in royal for years until I was not paid for a referral I made.

That being said, even the above statement is not true.

I received the email and:

I played at Royal for about a week long after you were no longer there, so I clearly was not one of your top players. I might have wagered a total of $200 at Royal.

I never played in the casino.

I was an affiliate for a brief time until I wasn't paid, but only referred 3 players, so I doubt this put me in the top 50 position.

Yet, even though I was not a top player and did not ever enter the casino, I got the email.

If you want to make Royal a top notch book, how about paying anyone Royal owes money.

http://www.sportsbookreview.com/Search/default.aspx?Search=royal&Area=Site&Submit=Home

Has everyone there been paid? When everyone there who has a valid complaint has been paid, then Royal can begin to become a top notch book.

When you are done with that list, you can send me the money Royal owes me. Back during my affiliate days, I referred 4 people to you. I was paid about $150 for 3 of them. The one you guys owed me about $1000 for, I was told was "referred by someone else," which simply was not true - he is a very good friend of mine. I never referred anyone else and never considered playing at your shop again.

General has my email if you decide to make right.

Re: interesting email from BETROYAL

The casino division sent this e-mail to every customer in the entire Royal database. I guess I did not make that clear. It was a mistake and will not happen again under my watch.

Regarding what may have ranged from errors to outright lies made by predesessors is not the mode of operation around here now under my watch. We may make mistakes, we will not lie.
I would suspect this will take some time for the gambling community to believe.

As far as anyone being screwed, for whatever reason you may derive and from whatever era and from whatever ownership, e-mail me:
chester@betroyal.com

Is my task a tall one? Yes. No one will be able to find any inconsistency in what I say nor what I do nor how I back up my words and that is what is being instilled here at Royal as it was when the company was created and as it was for its first 5 years.

When that has happened and for the necessary length of time anyone may require (even if its never) in the cases where you have seen this, hopefully some of you will mention it.

Realize the ownership is intelligent enough to know it has made a few mistakes to say the least. If this last measure of bringing me in is not supported, what do you think the future will be for Royal?

Re: interesting email from BETROYAL

Chester,

I have no beef with you.

But your current emplyer, Navtej Kohli aka Tej, is a convicted swindler and has blown out more than one offshore casino and sportsbook for his own personal gain. The amount of money he has stolen from players is over 7 figures by most accepted accounts.

He used part or all of those ill gotten gains to purchase Royal. Since owning Royal he has pulled quite a few shenanigans that you have alluded to including slow pays, and who knows how many non-forum stiff jobs.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Tej ultimately controls the bank accounts at Royal. When money comes in, it is his and only dispersed at his direction. You couldn't pay out 100% of the players tomorrow without getting an ok from Tej. You probably couldn't pay out 10% of the balances on hand without getting the money from one of the accounts only he has access to.

Why should people trust that when push comes to shove Tej will allow you to do the right thing?

Why should people support a book that was bought with money stolen from other players and a substantial part (if not all) of the profits of the book goes to the man who robbed all of those players in the past?

Why should everyone just look the other way while the owner of your book has open stiff jobs out there?

You may not have reread that email before it went out, but they did, and they didn't think twice about sending it out. It says a lot about the character of the other people at BetRoyal.

Another SLOW PAY by BetRoyal reported at SportsBookReview. Not until SBR got involved did the person get paid.

Lets hope no one buys into the same crap we are fed everytime a crooked sportsbook brings in a new face to feed us more lies all the while things remain the same. The swindler still controls the money. Your deposit goes right into his pocket.

Let me just say to the BetRoyal customers the same thing I told the BetOnSports/Millennium players last year, Does a House Have to Fall On You?

Maybe Royal can turn this around by allowing a select few posters (NOT ME PLEASE) to play on credit ... :smokesmal

If things go well, we'll hear about it.

Re: interesting email from BETROYAL

Chuck Sims... I like your commentary. Secondly, if 90% of us dislike BetRoyal and know they are garbage, why would EOG take them in a sponsers? It seems EOG's true motive is NOT to work as a watchdog site but more so to generate revenue via advertising. Thus I might ask, what good is advertising when you have no customer base? So, who should EOG really be concerned with catering to.. the gamblers or the shady books?? Furthermore, why not just carry legit books with good rep as advertisers rather than more books with mediocre reps?

Re: interesting email from BETROYAL

Thanks Chester. I am glad you are willing to address some of these issues. That is appreciated and important for every sports book IMO.

I want to ask a question if I may. I have a belief that BetRoyal will be sold within the next year to year ? to a well-reputable offshore figure. Can you comment on that? It is nothing more than my opinion based on live meetings with Royal in April and from things I hear from others in the industry. Is this even a remote possibility? I assume for the right price anything is for sale. I am just curious if you care to comment on that and if you don't I respect your decision also.

I would very much like to see BetRoyal get back in my top 10, where I had you guys back as recent as 2002.

Thanks again and all the best to you, Chester.

First to JC - Thanks, I really appreciate your post in all ways. I have been asking through the grapevine that we could have some conversations. Conversations I would value. Please, let me know if this can happen.

General, thanks also. As to your question, there has been zero hinting of that sort from principles to me but at the same time, from simple analysis, its my opinion that to consider such a move, may be the wisest thing to do. The fact that I would not be apprised, if in fact this were the case, may be a concern of my own fear as to what would happen to me, thus my wife and four children. Long ago, after my personal troubles that led to my devolution with Royal, and my experience with the "million dollar" guys behind BetPanam, I solidified within myself a clear limit as to what I would accept and what I would not. From this very decision comes much more uncertainty than what may happen if Royal is sold. The wind will always blow. I follow the wind.

Thanks folks, the forums (especially EOG and SBR) are tough places and in most cases, I will remain on the sidelines. Let's see what Royal can transform into and what cultural moves can be made, both from my position downward as well as from my position upward. That should be the true measure. My efforts along those lines stand before you all.
