Vast majority of money bet on football arrives over the Internet. Online gambling might be the leading growth industry in the world; an estimated $12 billion was bet last year on some 2,000 websites and the handle keeps rising, tenfold what it was seven or eight years ago.

But here are two words of advice for anyone about to enter the online gambling world: be careful.

It's an industry perhaps not in turmoil, but certainly at a crossroads given the recent arrests of executives by U.S. law enforcement officials who are trying to put the genie back in the bottle. (And never will.)

With a stat like that, you have to really wonder how one of the largest sportsbooks in the world (BoS) could get upside down and put out of business by a run on the book.

Piss-poor pathetic management, if you ask me. How else can you explain it?
