The Chief Financial Officer for retailer Bed Bath & Beyond has apparently committed suicide following a financial report that included shuttering stores and laying off a massive number of people.
Gustavo Arnal, 52, was the Chief Financial Officer of Bed Bath & Beyond. According to The Daily Mail:

Ok, update me in a week or two. they're a long, long way from there and are basically fighting in open steppe/fields with no cover, they're gonna get picked apart. Todays update said the russians destroyed another 25 or so pieces of armor.

Russia may face a longer and deeper recession as the impact of US and European sanctions spreads, handicapping sectors that the country has relied on for years to power its economy, according to an internal report prepared for the government.

The document, the result of months of work by officials and experts trying to assess the true impact of Russia’s economic isolation due to President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, paints a far more dire picture than officials usually do in their upbeat public pronouncements. Bloomberg viewed a copy of the report, drafted for a closed-door meeting of top officials on Aug. 30. People familiar with the deliberations confirmed its authenticity.

Turkey recorded 80.2% inflation in August but the worst is yet to come.

The central bank expects consumer prices, a key gauge of inflation, to peak somewhere between 85-90% in the coming months, as energy prices will rise going into the winter months.

Yea, I'm sure russian forecasters are giving bloomberg a sneak peak, LOL.

Or maybe that's a US forecast? in which case it's already suspect since all the previous forecasts were wrong.
