Uconn suspends starting Qb and O-lineman.

University of Connecticut redshirt junior quarterback Cody Endres (Washington, Pa.) and redshirt sophomore offensive guard Erik Kuraczea (Ansonia, Conn.) have been suspended indefinitely from the football team due to a violation of University of Connecticut and Division of Athletics policies.

I like my Michigan pick alot more now.

These are backups not starters.

I still like michigan @home. A desperate team that cant lose this game.

Neither one of those players were scheduled to see much time. This is no big deal.

michigan loses this game and richrod is gone at seasons end.
this game sets the table for michigan having either a decent or horrible season.

they need momentum heading into conference play.
their backs are against the wall in game 1.

I agree. With Notre Dame in South Bend on deck, an 0-2 start would be certainly possible. With games against Iowa and Wisconsin at home, and at Penn State and Ohio State, 6 wins would be the max that Michigan could expect to win this season, and 6 wins gets Rich Rod fired. His NCAA problems certainly will not help him.
