Re: Must see video explains the financial crisis in 10 minutes
RD-
i think that there is alot of blame to be passed around to alot of people. This would never have started without individuals seeking loans that they knew or should have known that they could not afford. From there, it goes up the chain- to the mortgage brokers and real estate agents, loan companies that packaged those loans, to the investment banks that bought and packaged them. Lots of people involved.
There were many laws that were changed to allow all of this to happen. Those laws were sponsored by Dems and Repubs, signed by presidents of both parties. There are too many people to blame and we have to find a way out of it.
"A lot of blame to be passed around to a lot of people", huh?
Just curious...
Who created Fannie and Freddie?
Who gave us the Community Reinvestment Act?
Democrats create these un-American socialist monstrosities and then when they inevitably crash and hurt people, we get this "both sides are to blame" bullshit.
You're damn right Republicans are to blame -- FOR NOT PUSHING BACK HARD ENOUGH.
Just as Republicans are guilty for NOT PUSHING BACK HARD ENOUGH against Democrat enviro-wackos who have been sabotaging energy independence for decades...
Just as Republicans are guilty for NOT PUSHING BACK HARD ENOUGH against Democrats and their NEA lobbyists who make a living screwing our children...
Just as Republicans were guilty for NOT PUSHING BACK HARD ENOUGH against pansy left wing anti-terror policies during the 90s...
Just as Republicans are guilty NOT PUSHING HARD ENOUGH for tort reform which would put ambulance chasers like John Edwards who are presently skyrocketing health care costs, out of business forever.
Just as Republicans are guilty for NOT PUSHING BACK HARD ENOUGH against Democrats and their massive entitlement programs going back decades that WILL bankrupt our country...
Just as Republicans are guilty for NOT PUSHING BACK HARD ENOUGH against liberal judges who believe they should dictate social and economic policies....
Yes sirree bob, "plenty of blame to go around."
If only the majority of Republicans grew a backbone and declared all out war against Democrats and their destructive un-American touchy-feely "progressive" toxicity -- as opposed to giving in to the fallacy of "bipartisanship" -- they would sweep every election.
