Eye on Gambling and WinPicks Handicapping Software is proud to present the 2008 Newcomers Handicapping Contest. If you registered with EOG in 2008 and have less than 750 posts at the time of entry or if you are a registered member and have less than 200 posts at the time of entry you are eligible.
*Please note post count is determined at time of entry not at the beginning of contest, so if you are close to the maximum posts and wish to play in this contest you will need to sign up before you pass the cutoff amount, and then you are free to post as normal.
The deadline for entering this contest is August 31st, 2008.
Contestants will handicap during a portion of the CFB and NFL season. Complete rules will be posted on or before August 29th, 2008. The contest will begin on September 4th, 2008
Eligibility Requirements:
Registered on or after January 1st, 2008 and have a post count of less than 750 at time of entry OR a registered member with less than 200 posts at time of entry
Contest Rules:
(These will be the basic rules of the contest and are subject to change between now and August 29th, 2008)
1. CFB and NFL sides and totals only
2. Each contestant MUST make 20 picks over the two week span
3. All plays will be graded as one unit 110 to win 100 (or whatever the juice is at the line posting time)
4. All plays MUST be posted by SCHEDULED time of game
5. Rotation numbers will be used for posting
6. Missed plays (anything less than 20) will be counted as a loss
Prizes:
1st prize: WinPicks Parlay Pack, 2008-2009 handicapping software for NFL, NBA, and NCAA football and basketball ? a $150.00 value
2nd prize: College and Pro Football pack a $90 value
3rd prize: Your choice of CFB or NFL pack a $50 value
*All software is downloaded to your computer. Once the final winners are determined, MicroBrothers will contact the winners via email to assist them in downloading their prize.
MicroBrothers has graciously provided all prizes for this contest. Please sign up either below or in the CFB or NFL forums.
