He will get $10.795 million in guarantees. Stewart was already running and hitting Saturday, hours after signing. The team released running back Alex Haynes and linebacker Brandon Jamison to make room on the roster.

Jones will arrive in Oxnard Saturday morning and is scheduled to practice in the afternoon. For now, he's a change of pace back and possible kick returner. The Cowboys will likely use Jones like the Jets do Leon Washington.

He's eligible to return in Week 7. In the meantime, the Texans' secondary looks like a good fantasy matchup with Fred Bennett and Jacques Reeves starting. That could also benefit Houston's passing game, which will throw to catch up with no reliable running back on the roster.

Dorsey, perhaps this year's most talented rookie, is expected to step in and start immediately at defensive tackle. The Chiefs want him to "read and react" instead of "shoot", however, and that may not be his strength.

This may say as much about the club's confidence in Sammy Morris' health as it does about Laurence Maroney. However, it's been clear for some time that Maroney's usage patterns were simply not reliable enough for fantasy leaguers, and Jordan's signing adds further concern. Maroney will remain the starter, but Jordan could play a significant enough role to hamper Maroney's consistency and overall production.

He's expected to see playing time immediately as a jack-of-all-trades in the Titans' backfield. Johnson has the look of an intriguing sleeper in points per reception leagues.
