If you think about the left/right commentators on the news shows the lefty types are a little more earthy and the righty type are a little more glamourous.

The cute ones aren't commentators; they are newsreaders. (Not that there is anything wrong with that.)
I prefer to be read the news by the pretty women.

This TV-news talent musical chairs game is hard to figure out.
A job as the NBC broadcast correspondent in a local market (although the #2 market in the country) is superior to a national anchor spot on MSNBC cable (even as poorly as MSNBC has performed over the last decade)?
I guess local broadcast still trumps national cable in the major markets.
I like Chris Jansing. Hope she's not headed down the Ashleigh Banfield MSNBC career path.
